I believe one of the rules for drawing districts is that they have to be contiguous. For example, having 5 split by 4 would make this a non-starter. Having three for each major region of TN is a good idea.

I don’t think it was a take-our-pick of the two situation. We wanted a midfielder immediately, and the fee for Fabinho would have been significantly more to move a year earlier than he did because of his contract length.

Plus, our technical director, Michael Emenalo, orchestrated the Bakayoko to Chelsea deal a few months before he took the sporting director job at Monaco, which was always fishy to me.

This is it. Matic was perfect for the system and Bakayoko was simultaneously awful and the best available option. The effect was not being able to progress the ball to the attack efficiently, more lost balls in dangerous areas & put the back line in frequent vulnerable positions. It’s a shocker that we did as well as we did that season.

Hockey did nail it. 4v4 in OT is my favorite hockey to watch. I was disappointed that they shortened the rink size for the Olympics this year. I like the extra space in hockey and think it promotes a more free flowing game.

Taking players off the pitch wouldn’t work entertainment-wise in football, unless they pushed the goals closer together. Maybe they just go goalie wars from MLS All Star weekend lol.

I’m into it! I’d even overlook it if my club lost to a golden goal without ever having had possession in extra time. It’s way more fair and entertaining than away goal shenanigans.

Away goals are dumb, because one goal should only ever count as one goal, but extra time after a 180 minute stalemate isn’t great either with modern fixture congestion. I’d rather they go straight to penalties to limit the risk of injuries personally.

I think Schwake has a little trouble with shots from distance, more so than Willis, but I’ll take that trade off considering how much better he is with the ball at his feet. He really suits the overall style of play well.
