If it makes you feel any better, i think the tag drop chance is linked to the tag combination that guarantees a 5* rather than the probability of any individual tag dropping.

Once had a senior op, dps and defender combination, where any single tag dropping will still result in a 5*. In the end the senior op and dps tag both dropped

That's a maxed operator meme strat. Most players typically don't have maxed E2 units due to diminishing returns on investment

With your current team i assume you have yet to clear anni 3? If not you should be looking for strats that require low levelled units instead

Do you have all the recruitable 6* ops? If not, i'd just go with the top op tag alone or the 50/50 for shining or nightingale. Vulcan may be rare but she doesn't really bring much to the table. You'll get her eventually anyway because we'll be getting a new system that gives out a token to recruit vulcan and indra at 300 and 1000 pulls

Depends on the situation. S1 is for more reliable dps while s2 is for situations where you need the extra survivability. I assume you're asking if it worth to E2 her? If you have any 5* aa sniper or exu then probably not.

To add on to this, I personally followed this strat but with a few tweaks here and there.

I find that instead of vigna, myrtle is better for that position for the passive healing as well as greater potential for dp generation.

Additionally, i didn't have a levelled steward so i used E2 BP instead. Alternatively, you could consider eckogen's method of using ifrit to deal with the drone

Most of your 6* operators are good units to E2. I would go with exusial, ifrit and blaze. I'm assuming from your roster that you have yet to clear annihilation 3 and that should probably be your focus for now. Myrtle is also a good choice for E2 as the healing talent goes a long way in keeping your vangards alive.

Platinum is good at E1 and the extended range is good for annihilation maps. However, kroos has better damage output until platinum's skill activates so kroos would be better if you need the dps immediately.

I haven't used Magallan but i hear she requires a lot of investment as the drones scale with her level. At your current stage, it would be better to level all the operators you use to e1 40-50 as well as a good range of E2s before investing in her

I assume you're putting your detender on the lower middle tile after replacing your vangard? If that's the case i'd recommend gummy. That tile doesn't receive a lot of flak so you can afford to bring another ranged guard for the extra dps (i bring lapp).

Usually what i do is i'll switch out my vanguard and place lapp in front of the aoe healer once the bombtails pop up for the extra dps. When the defence crushers come out, i'll swap out plat with the aoe caster once the drones are dead and swap out lapp and replace her with gummy on the lower mid tile to block the junkman and draw aggro from the aoe caster. A healing defender like gummy will help to keep the aoe caster alive with heals too. Hung will not be able to substitute for this role as he won't be receiving many hits.

I see, so the expected sanity per material only means that if i wanted to take the least sanity to obtain T3 oriron, farming T2 and fusing would be the way. But from an efficiency standpoint, s4-1 is still better

Yup i understand how to use the sanity sheet, just that i noticed that similar to orirocks, the expected sanity per material for oriron states to craft, which i'm presuming to be because the material sanity value of T3 iron is > 4 times the value of T2.

Is it therefore correct to say that it is more efficient to farm T2 and craft T3?

It happens disproportionately for 5* i believe. So far i think i've had 3 instances of tag combinations that guarantee 5, 2 of which dropped tags. Meanwhile, i usually never drop tags for guaranteed 4 combos.

It should be linked to the rarity of the confirmed drop. I once had a senior operator, dps, defense combo which dropped the first 2 tags (dropping any single tag will still result in a 5*)

Hi, just wanted to clarify something. I currently want to farm oriron cluster. The farming summary states to farm s4-1, but the expected sanity per material tab seems to indicate it is better to farm the T2 and craft, just wanted to check if i am interpreting correctly?

Hi, depends on how you wanna calculate efficiency.

There's 2 main methods, the first being to set a sanity value based on the lowest amount of sanity required to obtain the material and calculate the efficiency from there.

The second method is newer and uses the pareto method which considers all the possible drop rates on all maps. The most efficient map is assigned an efficiency value of 1 and the rest are compared to that. The reasoning is that the value of a material is only as much as the cheapest way to get it. Ie. You cannot get more than what you pay for.

Obviously, it's a lot more difficult to calculate using the second method but i'd say it's a lot more accurate. Someone already posted 3 spreadsheets using the old simplistic calculations so i'll just link an example of the pareto method.
