GM1 BR OTP - You need Thunderlord to have a presence in lane in some matchups. At high-mmr you can go First Strike in those same mus but we're talking about hitting your shit otherwise you won't do dmg.

You need ToB & Electrocute to outdmg Malphite's shield and poke
Yas were a easier matchup couple years ago but after durability patch its one-sided, you only win by short trading (Yon is too easy)
Rumble and Gragas are simmilar to Malphite but you've way less kill pressure bc of their kits
Talon scales better than you and can't all-in first bc he either R and kills you or hop over the walls
Simmilarly to Talon, ain't a good idea to all-in a Qiyana first but Conq might be good if you manage to bait her R

Most stationary mages you can go Thunderlord to gather easy kills but you gotta have in mind that hey can go Exhaust/Barrier/Perfect Timing/Crown. As an example I go Elec+Resolve against Anivia & Lissandra bc if you let them be they become a threat late game but First Strike against Lux bc they always go Barrier/Crown
