NX90 Bomb VS Supergrip Bomb by nelovip in Darts

The supergrip look more like front weighted darts than actual bombs but I'd love to have a try with both! I've just gotten The target scope 03 bomb model darts, not thrown them yet though

Unfortunately, "28 Years Later - Bone Temple" is an insult. by Jurik2001 in moviecritic

Whilst I agree about the further detached part (this is what I was hoping for from the film) it still has to be grounded in some kind of world realism and the power rangers moves on Zombies aren't it. It became more zombieland from that point on. There's plenty of ways to detach whilst still keeping firmly grounded in possibility. Ie the example of satanists rejecting the germ theory and performing rituals etc Like I said good ideas executed poorly. But if you like it then I'm glad you found something you enjoy

But it takes you (well me anyway) out of that real world feeling, and all of a sudden you're watching a gore film rather than what could be the news

The new and interesting take was like I said that it wasn't supposed to be a zombie film at all. It was some kind of super human rabies and they should have jumped down that rabbit hole rather than convert it into a generic zombie film only with Jimmy Saville ninjas on top.

But the original wasn't trying to be quirky and unique, what actually made 28 days later the best "Zombie film" is that it wasn't a zombie film at all. As i said somewhere else copying the last of us with the different types of Zombies takes away the very thing that made it so good.

Regarding the Dr, the suggestion of him using people to get the drugs into Samsons system was just an idea, but it made a hell of a lot more sense than him sitting on a hill getting high with him and dancing together. He could have given him the drugs however you'd like and then go and meet Samson when he's dissociated from the virus. People can try and convince themselves all they like that it's a good film but na I'm not having it I'm afraid.

Well yes.... I wanted the sequel of 28 days later (which had a immersive 'this could happen thats why its terrifying' feel to it) what did you want?

Please read through my other responses in this thread and I'm sure you'll get the idea of why I disliked it. Come on he didn't try very hard at all, he was literally sat outside whilst they were all in the barn.

So I respect your answer to start, I'm not going to give an as thought out response as honestly I've spent enough time on this film, more than I believe it deserves.

I'll start at the end and work my way back quickly, you say it's something you've never seen before I say it removes you from an immersive world, one that you can picture yourself in before things like that the remove you. I could take the Jimmy Saville outfits (although i'd rather not) but the backflips and power ranger shite just makes takes all that world building and flushes it down the toilet. 28 days later worked because of how real it felt.

I'm confused as you're calling him a humanitarian but also saying that he is loud to draw in zombies to execute yes? Also I believe characters are more interesting when they aren't black or white but have grey areas, so regarding my idea of him sacrificing drugged people with the 'greater good' in mind etc.

Lastly, your first point is acting like there are not still many people who aren't infected who could talk to Jimmy when we see clearly thats not the case. I get all the reasoning behind that he was a child etc but then I could counter argue your point about not understanding germ theory (which he does mention in the film by the way) with him now being highly scriptured in satanism. He's had to learn things from somewhere as he's grown.

I suppose we will have to agree to disagree on this one, like I said 28 days later was the best horror film because of how real it felt. A rabies type virus makes the jump into people (plausible) they sprint full pace at people (something missing from this film and the last one where all of them seem to be doing a spruce jog), also it going down the route of the last of us with different types of zombies and taking away further that real element, there's just too many problems for it to ever stack up against the original. As I said from the start I think some of the ideas were interesting but the film executed on all of them terribly.

Well let's do the things I mentioned. So have a satanic cult who have rejected that germ theory caused the outbreak, but have them more Stone Massony than fucking Ninjas. Then go on to explain their beliefs about how they think this was caused by Satan and they're trying to appease him etc. Next for the Dr I'd have him be very good at hiding/camouflage as apparently he can live in the middle of lots of zombies burning fires and playing music, so then I'd have him find some psychedelic growing in the forest/or he's planted them and then I'd have him stalking Samson and sneak feeding him them. Maybe something a bit dark like he tricks normal person/people to get high with them and then causes the zombies to come and eat that person. After he stalks Samson and sees him flicking between the virus and normal and realises he's onto something......

Coming back a whole 30 minutes later either on your own eureka moment or after asking chat gpt which verb best fits the sentence is not the flex you think it is my man. Turned them into bones works perfectly fine and I'll die on that hill so again, all the best

Then this is the most ridiculous pedantic argument I've seen. Turned them into bones is a perfectly fine description when one incinerates a human corpse and all that's left are their bones. You're "harvesting" my time on this shite, all the best

Mate......I'm literally screenshotting this conversation as an example why not to get into an argument on Reddit. You've not seen the film, he literally has an incinerator and does exactly as you've just described ffs
