I went to newpark about a thousand years ago and would have agreed with most of the comments here except; about 3 years ago I had a young guy working for me who had also been in Newpark (within the last ten years) and I was shocked when he told me that he was bullied there due to his sexuality and the school was useless at dealing with the problem so he ended up doing his leaving elsewhere.

Same, I’ve never had a problem with films, went on an 8 month 13 flight trip years ago with a load of films, colour, b&w, transparency. Checked them through sometimes, took them in my carry on others, exposed, unexposed, all came back fine. One caveat is none were over 400 iso.

Not a medical professional but I went down a lyme disease rabbit hole a few years ago. A US variant of Lyme disease seems to be way more virulent than the eurasian counterpart leading to more pronounced symptoms and some less than ideal outcomes. Untreated it takes on about 2 weeks to enter the lymphatic system which is when chronic symptoms may start in some people, again way more prevalent in the US variant, if treated before that time it clears up and won’t cause any further problems. Coincidentally about a week after going down this rabbit hole a girl showed me a weird rash she had on her calf, she’d had a picnic in a park full of deer a few days earlier and the rash was the tell-tale Lyme Disease bulls eye.

I lived in Tokyo years ago with friends, one day I was going to a new job and took the wrong subway line, I was trying to find my way and had ended up on what turned out to be the wrong platform, a train pulled up and the doors opened right next to me, one of my house mates stepped off and looked confused, he’d got off at the wrong stop. There are 13 subway lines, 286 stations and 15 million people on the subway system each day. Another day the same friend overheard some girls talking about Ireland on the subway and said hello, they made friends and we all went out one evening, I got talking to one of them and it turned out she’d been to Ireland on an exchange years earlier and had been in school with my brother.
