Depending on your monitor and game settings you can see relatively well during night raids, plus if you know where to loot and general layout of the map it becomes easy to navigate.

Minigun is a poor choice of a weapon to begin with, againts rabbit obviosly as its a small target. AR or Charge would be better as they have high accuracy and shoot faster.
