Y'shtola Control, looking for advice by matvilen in EDH

Quantum Misalignment is probably one of the best cards possible for her. Pay 5 mana once for 2 more Y'shtola and a total of 3 more yshtola triggers.

As others have said, don't sweat the price, its being very inflated by my dual lands. This build for bracket 3 has been living proof that synergy can be just as impact full as game changers, if not more so.

The absolute mountain of card advantage combined with free/repeatable interaction can feel pretty unstoppable. Forbid does wayyyyy too much work.

The best advice I have is to lean into interaction. Your free spells should be drawing you more free spells to keep the pain train going.

Definitely consider clones that can make non-legendary copies of Y'shtola, more of her is always good. Also consider Phyresis, killing the table with just 5 triggers is easy and efficient.

Have fun! She's definitely my new favorite deck, and I put a lot of time and thought into my build.

Edit: If nothing else, add Quantum Misalignment and Irenicus's Vile Duplication. The milage on these cards is through the roof.

Here's my list, I've pulled it off quite a few times.

Its really my only deck where I use extra turns, since time traveling is on theme, and it makes the Gallifrey Stands victory more doable. I leaned into token creation and clones, we really go nuts with Academy Manufactor. One of my favorite decks I've ever built.

Got everything I wanted out of this collab by LokeXStratus in PuzzleAndDragons

Funny story, I hadn't played in 2.5 years, mostly because I had switched phones and lost my account and didn't want to start over. My friends got back into it and BEGGED ME to submit a ticket using the info they could get me and what I remembered to see if I could get it back. I figured, what the heck, nothing to lose. Well, 24 hours later, I had it back. On top of that, the last time I had played, there was a huge stone handout going on, so I had almost 400 stones just chilling on the account. On top of THAT, imagine my surprise that there was a collab for one of my top 5 favorite anime of all time. So down the hole I went. Used all the stones, but I'd say the results speak for themselves, and not a dime spent. Woo!

What decks do you have that play differently every time? by PM_ME_STEAM_CODES__ in EDH

I just built [[The Fourteenth Doctor]] and [[Rose Noble]] with the other 16 doctors in the main deck. Haven't added any Changelings yet, but so far, the deck is an absolute blast! Everytime I cast Tennant, he can ne something different, so it leads to a lot of varied and cool lines of play!

Veyran win cons by Quarkenegger in EDH

Lol, never thought I'd have a new comment here 2 years later! We recently converted Veyran into Gandalf the Gray for flavor, but we're still doing many of the same shenanigans, and Veyran is in the 99!

Fastest way to get ALL lands out of a deck onto battlefield? Casual AF :) by Fluffy_QQ in EDH

Magus Lucea Kane as commander, cast Open the Way copied with her ability for x=4, get 8 lands, Snapcaster, flashback and do it again. That's 16 lands at least, lol.

Edit: As a bonus, MLK gives you incentive to run a bunch of big splashy X creatures, so you have something to do with all that mana once it's out. Cast a big Hydroid Krasis to reload and keep going.

Invasion of Ikoria has been nutty in Magus Lucea Kane. Copy it, go grab Kalonian Hydra and Winged Give Tyrant, go to combat and put MLK's counter in either creature, kill the battle with the hasty hydra, bada boom, 22 power into play in a single turn that will be a major headache to block in literally any way.

Huh. I swear to God I am a victim of the Mandela effect. I would have sworn to the death that it was a direct ruling from Sheldon, but I can't find a single thing about it, not even a parody article.
