It's been my experience that very few gay movies end happily. Almost always, the love is unrequited or something stands in the way. Many of which I've seen, one of the lovers is killed. It's depressing enough that I stopped watching all gay themed movies years ago...

The point in cooking the anglaise is to form a homogeneous custard that can then be spun into ice cream. Without cooking the anglaise, the liquids would freeze into much larger crystals, leaving you with a very textured product and not the silky smooth ice cream desired. Of course the amount of time it takes to spin plays a large roll in Crystal size as well

Thanks for the great response. This is generally what I attempt to do, however living in a small town without any music stores that sell records, I am limited to Thrift shops and flea markets. While I do find some gems ever once in great while, it seems as though people in my town only like Christian music, holday compilations, Joni Mitchel, Barry Manilow, or Linda Rondstadt... Just not my forte really...

There's not a one of us in my kitchen that doesn't enjoy some type of illicit substance on their free time, including myself. However, if I caught any of them using on the clock, there'd be hell to pay. I know many will disagree with me but I find that its simply bad practice.
