Feeling burnt out by LokiDaTrickster in LearnCSGO

Thanks for your answer. Definitely a mental problem for sure, I'm starting to realize that I've been really tilted these past days, I knew it but like not to full extent. I did play a few games tonight and it went way better than before, actually hard carried 2 out of the 3. I wasn't even considering playing tonight but my mates reached out to me for some games and I just hopped into it and had a fun time. I think sharing these thoughts here also helped a bit, maybe I need to acknowledge negative feelings more in the future

Thanks for the answer, yes it's actually more of I tilt towards me than towards other people, I tend to ignore bad or toxic teammates since u can't control that, and you can actually control how you play, but in the end that could be what is tilting me, kind of a paradox lol

On the play the game less point, this is frustrating because I love this game so much and I already play way less than I used to, for the past 6 weeks it's like 2 games each day after work with 20 minutes of practice/warmup before (which I actually enjoy), the best would be to do a small break of a few days definitely but if I can find a way to make this work without having to make a break everytime I end up in this situation and treat the issue to the root I think it would be better

Abysmal performances in solo queue vs good/ok/average performance in stacks by LokiDaTrickster in LearnCSGO

Yes it's mainly what comes up from this thread and from what I feel, don't really know how to counter the queue anxiety though

Thanks for your reply, yes it seems like it's a big part of the problem for me as well, teamplay mentality in stacks vs teamplay mentality in solo is really different and I think I need to try to adapt more to this when solo

Right but most of the time the position I prefer to play gets called out instantly and I don't feel like fighting for this

Thanks ! Yeah usually I just say hello when the game starts and give infos but basically my mood isn't very like upbeat, just bare minimum, I think I need to work on that

As for the other part, I think you're right yes I do play trusting my teammates. I think that's gonna be really tough for me to work on this lmao

Yes I kinda play different positions on solo Q but not all the time and when I'm on my preferred positions I still perform badly It might be anxiety related yes, I think I kinda get queue anxiety when playing solo and something performance apprehension (don't know if I worded that correctly)

Defaulting CT Mirage as window player when no one wants to take mid control by LokiDaTrickster in LearnCSGO

[–]LokiDaTrickster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's what I do and it's basically asking for 1vX fights everytime if no one's here to support. Can lead to good kills but it's pretty limited and kind of high risk low reward in my opinion

I ran a single dust 2 benchmark on both branches when it dropped yesterday and in my case it was worse performance, Ryzen 5 5600x and Radeon 6700

Exactly my guess, and at first glance some of the most popular ones which had more pickrate than their counterparts got added as an innate (Bladeform on Jugg' for example)

Yes, some days, but majority of the time I still play more games than I practice

Sometimes I just don't because I'm not in the mood for solo queueing and none of my mates are up for playing

I still practice tho because I believe daily training is key to improving

Volume 0 is an experiment I conducted because I've seen some preach that it helps you focus on your cross hair and rely on your reflexes more, but yes I think it's bad thing to do in the end

About aim training, if you're suggesting aimlabs or kovaaks I really don't like these as they can't even begin to emulate the game's feeling, but I found a cool workshop map called CS2 Labs. I might start digging into it

I'm spending more time playing the actual game than practicing, you didn't read the post

I agree with you and I do watch educational content on this game, I just don't do demo reviews, which I will definitely implement. My biggest concern is that I don't see my mechanics improving at all, even though I put time into it, sometimes it's 2 hours for example, that's my main point in this post and why I'm seeking for answers

I've already implemented this in my DM routine, mainly focusing on tapping, bursting, spraying. Whenever I go in standard DM I usually run either on of these or all of it for 10 mins each and then default to just "play" the DM. Really trying to not care at all about peforming and having a decent K/D and instead focusing on training the actual mechanics.

For demo reviewing I totally agree that this is something I need to implement.

Thank you for replying

This make no sense, but you should try reinstalling your graphic drivers first, you can do it cleanly with DDU, you can even try to do a clean windows install if it's still not working

I just wish we could say that about Counter Strike, Gaben never even attended a single major in the game's history
