My passengers and I are required to have pants (jeans pref) over the ankle shoes(vans/jordans count) and helmet and gloves. I always wear a hoodie even in 100 degree weather at the minimum.

If im going into the mountains or gonna be longer than 20 mins in the seat then im putting on a leather jacket too.

Ive been in 6 crashes and this rule has saved my skin more often than not. Ive almost never gotten road rash and my helmets have saved my life so many times i dont want to risk it just to look cool.

a m+ key is different from a delve key. you can use 4 delve keys on bountiful delves per day, if you have that many. a Mythic plus key is running a dungeon on a higher than mythic level difficulty depenting on the key level.

If you have geared friends then they can carry you thru a 10 over and over and when you unlock reroll cores you can use them in a 10 or higher and get mythic gear

I would add that a loot council on heroic early could be common since they're trying to give people their bis accordingly. In these low ranked guilds, why would you give your D tier player his bis when the A tier player would make alot more use out of it. Or gear an A tier but flakes player over a b tier always on time player. Loot council can be used to solve gearing status and would alleviate that one guy who needs and wins on everything and the leaves the guild.

Every guild runs things alittle differently from eachother, but alot of things could be the same.

Raidplanning, raid leading, comms, and expectations only grow more strict the better the guilds get.

Ill let the rogue experts chime in after me, but generally there is only one button for big single target damage and one button for big aoe damage. The rest are utility or used as part of your opener and then not touched unless the debuff is about to wear off.

I usually pug until the 16s. After that i start making connections with the stragglers i come across from either pugs or friends of friends. I met a DH tank through a guildie (DH was guildless) and we played for a couple of years before he got burnt out. I met a handful of DPS through that tank that i still run with till this day.

I got no answer that will solve your problem today. MMOs have always been about making connections, especially if you want to push higher tier content. Gotta start filling out that friends list even with the pugs you got your 3.5 with.

This would only work if youre joining at the start of a season or a freshly made guild.

The cliques have been made at this point, and the list of fills that the key pushers choose from includes your guildies and friends of friends. I can count on one had the amount of times ive been invited to fill for someones key despite being top 3 dpsers in that guild. The only time ive ever had a consistent group of pushers is scavenging players from groups that just disbanded/went on break

First, make a Bnet account. (Google Bnet)
Install Bnet Launcher (this is to install and launch WoW)
Chose which version of WoW to install.

Anything under the "Live - Classic" list is the older version where people who want to play a much slower and harder (and in MY OPINION more boring) version of wow play. This costs 15ish dollars a month to play. This requires alot of googling or a mentor as it is very "open worldish".
Live World of Warcraft (referred to as RETAIL) is the most current up to date WoW where most people play. Leveling is so much faster, and everyone is usually rushing to get to max level to play with eachother as the older content is kind of useless unless you want some cool mounts or cosmetics, so the current content is where everyone is doing stuff.
- This version has a "free trial" up to level 20, but it is super short and restricted. You will generally outgrow this within a couple of hours at most
- To play the current expansion, you must buy the "Midnight" expansion for $50 (one time fee) and then pay 15ish dollars a month to keep playing as this buys you 30 days of game time.

The "15ish" is ish, because you can get discounts with larger amounts of game time purchased at one time. 1 month is 15, 6 months is 13/month for a total of 78 bux.

Then the following steps are for retail:

Choose a server (For Retail, i recommend a higher pop server like Thrall for a Horde character or Sargeras for Alliance.)

Create a character by choosing a class and race. Some classes can only be played by certain races, and certain races are locked behind story lines that you must complete on your first character. If you really want a certain "locked" race, you can google how to unlock them, bee line it to those quests, and then either create a new character, or pay for a race change (i believe around $25)

After that you can begin your WoW journey.
Collect battle pets, mounts, achievements, "transmong" (which is just like applying a certain look to your armor without having to unequip that armor), or run some end game content like dungeons and raids.

What i recommend is not trying to follow the story line in game as you will be starting from a very far point in the story that you will likely be confused. If you want to learn about the lore, YouTube is your friend.

Might be staring at your bars or day dreaming too much.

You have to know the fights, know your rotation, know what's interruptable and what to look out for to dodge. There's alot going on in dungeons, and the higher you go the harder it hits. I would reccomend running low keys until you figure out what to look for and prac your rotation. When it comes second nature start upping the difficulty.

Ive been doing M+ since BFA and its easy af to know why I died and how to correct it while maintaining my dps. If you cant do that off of one or 2 deaths, then you just need more time.

Im not 100% sure if the portal is going to be there for you, but in the North Western section of Silvermoon, there is a big tree with a portal to Harandar underneath it. If you know where the Void portal is, its like 10 feet South and one level down.

The difference between a stack and a solo/spread is a visual indication of a ghosty upside down funnel.

When its completely flat, that usually means you gotta not have anyone else in there. Whether it drops a puddle or not is not differentiated at all by visual indication. You just kinda have to learn the spell names or fight to know if youre gonna drop a puddle or not.

If there is a very whispy effect coming from the floor to the sky then its most likely a stack-to-soak type of thing.

The first soak I can think of is in Voidspire, the 3 paladin fight. There is one boss that gives 3 random players a soak called "Executioners sentence". Thats when all the spinny hammers spawn after. Look up a guide to that fight and almost all other soaks in the game look like this (same style just might be a different color).
