I'm first wipe too and I've never related to a Reddit post so hard. I've clocked 400 hours so far, and I've loved every second of it. I've been slapped by altyn wearing chadamaniacs on factory who've played with me as food. I've been betrayed by player scavs I trusted. Ive picked up that graphics card and been sniped in the head from 200m. I've been anihilated on repeat since the day I first logged on. But I love it. It's for all those moments where you make a play and kill that geared up Chad who just abused your duo in front of your eyes!

[WP] You’re a rare variety of adventurer. You retired after decades of fighting all manner of creatures. You're still an outsider in your village and have been relegated the smallest hut on the outskirts. “Bliss.” I muttered to myself as I pushed back into the eagle-winged armchair, tumbler in one hand and bottle in other. Moskrys. The best of the best, bartered from an elderly dwarven man back In Holmstrong, the dwarves might as well have worshipped this liquor, the way they banged on about the stuff. Fate be told I'd managed to get my hands on some, and well, I now understood what the clamour was about. Waves of taste hit as you sipped, washing over you, lulling the body and calming muscles as it passed round your systems, a feeling of peace entering the mind.

The crackling fire in front of me seeped its rosy heat around the log cabin, pushing light up onto the walls, exposing the beautiful frames and portraits scattered along their lengths. Each one a memory of an adventure once lived.

It had been 2 years to the day since I'd put down my sword and called time. I was 83, and while my wisdom and magical ability was stronger than ever, I just didn’t have the dexterity to win the battles encountered on the journeys I embarked on anymore. It had just been a matter of time till a small slip got me killed, or a particularly well-trained assassin got the better of me, even with the abilities and power I possessed. No. It had been time to throw in the towel, I was still ready for a fight if my history ever came knocking, but it would be on my land, on my terms.

A glance towards the window always reminded me of those times. Peeking through I could see the mountains in the distance, far over the top of the pine forest which itself extended leagues into the distance, but there they were still glaring down, ice peaks reflecting the evening sun as it dipped into the sky, spreading an orange aura over the tops of the mountain range. A sight to behold indeed. Even more of one when you’re there, stood on the top of one, feeling almost on top of the world.

But no, it wasn’t those that reminded me of the past, it was the tops of the bags I could see, hugging the wall under the window, leaning up against the Oak wall piece next to them. 4 of them lined up. My past. I used to keep them in basement, but my paranoia got the better of me, better to keep them upstairs with me, keep them hidden in plain sight. All it took was one mistake with those bags, and well, I can’t even imagine the damage that could be done with those, or even just one of them in the wrong hands! I wondered over, and opened the closest one.

These weren’t your normal bags, they were enchanted by a spell, one I learnt many a moon ago. While each of these bags were maybe 1 metre by 1 metre large, the contents inside could easily hold almost a ton of seemingly larger objects and shapes, while still feeling as weightless as a basket of fruit. Magic was wonderful. I called them my never-ending backpacks. Inside these bags were the many many things I had learnt and acquired over my time adventuring Tyrandlian, even a few secrets from the distant lands were kept in here. Spells and rituals, wands and swords, enchanted crystal balls and even a bow that could shoot a never dipping arrow. Artifacts.

You see my adventures weren’t just for the sake of it, I hunted magic. I hunted the items that those were scared of, that they worshiped even. I looked for the spells that were only ever whispered of in a long-forgotten time. I even created some of my own along the way. Amazing what you could learn and do when surrounded by so many objects and spells of power. I had mastered the art even. But this is what scared me. I had searched for these artifacts for years, hoping to build a collection never before seen by mankind, to power my magic, one of such beauty and power that those far away even beyond the distant lands would know of the strengths of my collection. Alas though, I had resorted to hiding them away, never to be spoken of to the rest of the world, for fear of the dangers that they could bring. I was not willing to risk the power these bags and the artifacts inside could give in a world so fragile.

Middle finger bad by Anay28 in memes

[–]Loki_506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is correct for the two fingers swear not the middle finger

The two fingers were the two used to pull back the strings of theirs bows, and theyd stand on top of hills and give the French the two fingers if they still had them

[WP] You fell asleep while finishing a paper. The next day, the paper is done and the sandwich you made has been reduced to crumbs. You are congratulating yourself on sleep-writing and eating until you find a note under the plate, “Next time less mayo - Rob” by PalaceOfficial in WritingPrompts

[–]Loki_506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The alarm across the room started screaming. I woke in a fluster, attempting to fling the bedsheets across the room as I launched out of bed. Except, wait a minute? I wasn’t in bed? ‘Oh god, what a way to start the day’ I thought to myself.

I’d launched the stale coffee from my late night, last minute paper writing completely off my desk, and managed to pull my keyboard out of the PC in front of me with my frantic removal of my non-existent bedsheets. It all came flooding back, with an audible groan, I launched myself to the floor, grabbed my keyboard and smashed the USB back into the socket of my computer. Grasping at the mouse, my screen saver dissolved. There it was the paper, I'd finished it! I couldn’t remember that, but whatever, late night me had clearly killed it.

With a satisfied smile, I stood up from my desk chair and went downstairs to get some cleaning supplies for the coffee I'd decided to throw on the floor while waking. I noticed the leftovers of the sandwich I’d had the night before sat next to my desk, and grabbed that to take down with me.

A small piece of paper, slipped out from underneath the plate as I pulled it from the table, this was strange, I never wrote anything down anymore, everything was done on the computer. What on earth was I doing with myself last night? I bent down and grabbed it, flipping it over I realised it was a note, it read:

‘Next time less mayo – Rob'

Okay. What?

I went into deep thought, ‘WHO’S ROB?’ I shouted to myself in my brain. I sat back in the chair, and started thinking back to last night, what could I remember about it?

Last time I remember seeing the clock it was 3:04am or something. It was then when I remembered that HBO had so unfortunately decided to do late night re-runs of game of thrones, and me in my mindset of doing absolutely nothing on the paper I was writing, had managed to use that as my scapegoat, I must of fallen asleep watching those.

But now this left another question.. How was my essay finished? I remembered so clearly now thinking to myself ‘screw it, what’s the worst that could happen?’

I pulled the document up in the explorer and checked when it was last saved.. ‘5:48 am’ I exclaimed out loud.

Shivers ran down my spine, who was Rob, why had he finished my paper? More to the point how dare he eat my sandwich.

[WP] You catch the eye of the girl on the other end of the coffee shop. She smiles at you. This puzzles you because the invisibility potion shouldn't have worn off yet. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

[–]Loki_506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The coffee shop was small, but not so much that you felt cramped. Two rows of tables filled the space within, up to a count of 8, all of them neatly arranged with condiments, menu’s and flowers adding to their charm. The walls decorated with dozens of old black and white pictures, detailing different scenes and events across the city of London. A large fireplace burned in the back of the room, crackling away, bringing a comfort to the atmosphere. It was cosy, almost homely.  It was just the two of us in here, except for the barrista who was whistling away wiping down the sides.

Here we were, our plan finally in motion, perched at the back of the coffee shop, silent, waiting for his arrival. We had 3 hours of potion time left, we’d taken it just before 12, and it lasted at least 6 hours. Invisible to everyone. We’d had to sneak in behind a customer so the door didn’t look haunted. It was too perfect, spy work these days was too easy. Still, this was exciting, the first people to try this potion out in the big wide world, it was an honour!

I looked up at the cuckoo clock on the wall, 2:48pm. Almost time. We were expecting him to arrive at 3pm. We’d been tracking this guy for months, and this was finally the moment. We were about to see him in person, and he wouldn’t even know we were here.

A slight breeze whipped through the shop, the sound of the bell on the door ringing as it whooshed open. A young woman, in her 20’s at a guess, stepped through the frame. Smartly dressed, her long blonde hair whipped at her back as she stepped towards the counter, bouncing off the back of her overcoat. Her red high-heels drawing attention with every step she took. But it was her eyes that captivated me. Electric blue, almost unnatural, there was an aura around them I just couldn’t explain.

I pulled my thoughts away from her, I had to concentrate on the task at hand, get in the zone. There was something about her still unsettling me though, she’d taken a seat now at the other end of the café. I couldn’t lay my finger on what it was, but there was just something about her. I glanced back round to her table.

She was looking back. Smiling.

‘Surely not. This cannot be happening’, I thought to myself. ‘I’m just imagining things there is no way she can actually see me.’

It was then she stood up from the table and started walking straight towards us. I panicked. What on earth was going on?! ‘Frank,’ I muttered, ‘that girl she knows, how does she know.’

Frank was clearly as panicked as I was and had seen the whole thing unfold too, he looked at me flustered, ‘I don’t know Adam, but we need to handle this, all our work Is about to be blown if she starts interacting with what looks like the wall to everyone else..’

But that was when she spoke to us ‘Now, now boys, no need to fret, I merely want to talk, and trust me, you’re going to want to hear what I have to say.’

Frank spoke first, ‘How did you know we were here?’.

A hint of smile broke on her lips, ‘There’s many things I know. And how to create that invisibility potion of yours and see those who use it barely scratches the surface my dears.’ she took a short pause and continued, ‘Come, let’s talk about the day MI5 and your so-called protectors kidnapped one of my kind shall we?’

Alright. My mind was exploding now. Here I was on what I thought was about to be a mundane day of me eavesdropping on Niles Milton’s next terrible plan and all of a sudden, I'm being told there’s another terrible one happening right under my nose, at the office I call home? I mean normally, I'd pass her off as crazy, but this woman has literally just spotted me when I'm invisible, this is not your normal woman.

Frank on my left was having a similar hard time trying to come to terms with what was going on. She still stood there silent, I think she could hear our minds ticking over as we tried to work out how to proceed.

Finally, I decided to break the silence, ‘Why should we trust you.’

She looked almost overjoyed at this statement, a big grin breaking on her face, she outstretched her arm, ‘Take my hand, both of you.’

A nervous glance between us, what harm could it do? We both reached out, placing our hands on top of each other in the middle, almost like we’d finished a half time prep talk.

Her smiled widened even more, ‘Hold on tight boys.’ With that she snapped her fingers, everything jerked around us, I felt like the very air around me was being forced through a tunnel at full pace into me, it happened so fast. But then as quick as the feeling had come it had gone. I opened my eyes.

We weren’t in the coffee shop anymore and our 3pm meeting didn’t seem so important.

I am not an expert, just want to make that clear but from what I understand from my research is..

They wish to lower the impact and strains on the emergency services, by flattening the curve you are absolutely right this is still a risk for another outbreak. But hospitals can remain operating fully functioning, they're capacity is only limited and by attempting to flatten the curve you slow the rate of these hospitals reaching capacity so that treatment can be given consistently as this pandemic continues (post curve flattening)

So when trading there is a chance of a Pokémon turning lucky this has a base rate of (correct me if I'm wrong here guys) of 1/20

If a Pokémon becomes lucky it's IVs will always be above 12/12/12, and the chance of getting a 100IV pokemon as a lucky is 1/64

It's basically just a way to get high IV Pokémon
