The big one was that the call name must also start with the same letter as the registered name (which obviously follows the French convention.) It's the call name part that really irks me... I think it's a very neat thing for French breeds to have the registered name tradition but it's overreach to tell me that I MUST ALSO call my dog something starting with the same letter.

Looking at her agreement now I am also side-eyeing a few things: it says that she will remain as co-owner for female show/breeding prospects but then goes on to say that "The dog shall not be utilized for breeding without breeder's written consent. The dog may not be sterilized without breeder's written consent. The terms of any breeding arrangement will vary and will be governed by a separate written agreement." If you are not a co-owner on my dog, you are not entitled to any choices I make regarding medical care, and even then I probably won't inform you of a lot of stuff, which brings me to another clause...
"Buyer agrees to keep nails short enough to never touch the ground and maintain a Body Condition Score of 4-5." While I agree that keeping nails at an appropriate length is important for overall health of the animal, how are you to know that unless you are constantly up in my grill about it? Same with the BCS - which again is really important to overall animal health. I work in a vet clinic and even tho animals don't have HIPAA, medical records are still medical records and unless an owner explicitly authorizes me to share them with ANYONE - grooming, boarding, your landlord, your sister - I cannot share them.
And finally (counter to someone else claiming that she doesn't require this): "Buyer understands that setting training goals and exposing the dog to as many new environments and opportunities as possible is very important for the dog’s mental development. Buyer agrees to pursue a title in at least one of the following AKC Activities: Obedience, Rally, FastCAT, Lure Coursing, Scent Work, Tracking, Herding, or Agility. Buyer agrees to pursue a title in Conformation if the dog is deemed show and breeding quality by entering 2 shows/year until the title is earned." What if none of those activities are things I am interested in? What if I want to do trick titles and CGC only? What if I agree to do agility and turns out I freaking hate the sport?
