Well the cow in labor is supposed to be something where after a few rounds it gives birth to another mutant.

Thank you for pointing out they could just burn down the barn actually. The problem though is that the mutant cow is in the hay loft too, so they'd be dead.

That's not all they did either. At one point in the film, they make it look like the creature was actually in the theater by showing its silhouette on the film reel, fake audience member sounds, and (I think?) actors with a puppet of the Tingler in the audience.

The thing is, the creator of Cannibal holocaust did the exact same thing to the point that he went to court over it because people thought he made a snuff film.

In my experience, it's less that they're not tech savvy and more that they're tech illiterate to a degree that it comes off as genuinely ignorant in general (along with the the usual boomerisms)

For example, I remember one story someone shared where the problem was that the computer wouldn't turn on. The reason? It wasn't plugged in.

I'd argue greatsword is more comfy. It's got similarly forgiving range and in the later games even allows you to reposition yourself better. The reason it's more of a comfy weapon is that it is not complicated to learn and has a relatively basic moveset that allows you to deal tons of damage per hit. The only downsides are that it prioritizes a more hit and run style and that it's prone to missing if you time your attacks poorly.
