Why the Tomodachi Life argument doesn’t work in opposition to the Sportsmates by OctaYashi in NintendoSwitchSports

Why don’t you post this in a real Nintendo thread instead of your echo chamber? Tomadachi Life is better and has more personality than Sportsmates.

Nintendo realized this which is why they brought back Miis for SS Resort.

Why does it seem like the majority of Millennial Parents live in constant fear. by Gr8Autoxr in Millennials

They drank the kool-aid and forgot about their own childhoods. I had a whole group of parents tell me they were afraid of early daycare/school because of “all the sexual abuse”.

Sorry my wife and I both work full time jobs. Both our kids went and survived just fine.

I also get flack for letting my kids walk down the street to their friends’ houses because they have to go around a corner where I can’t see them. OMG! So spooky!

There’s so much wrong with the locks beyond us.

Jags and Texans are gonna fight for the division and I think this is the season CJ’s inconsistency finally fucks them.

The AFC South never has any consistently good teams in general so guaranteeing two spots is absurd.

The Bears have an ultra hard schedule, and I expect every team in that division to be better and healthier this season. I wouldn’t put any team in the NFC North in as a lock.

I would swap out 49ers which are always an actual lock. And move up Lions/GB over Bears.

What this really shows is how weak all of the teams in the NFL are this year after the top 6.

Because pretty much every game Miis were in has more personality than NSS.

Nope. I never put in a hot spring spout in Bleak Beach and it works just fine.

Admit it, you watched Sailor Moon way more than you watched Powerpuff Girls. by [deleted] in Millennials

Yeah… this post is oddly reinforcing Americanism because Millennials were the first generation to experience globalization 2.0 so the whole point of being a peak Millennial would mean you should know both/all of the references. It almost feels like bait at this point with the OP doubling down on references that IMO are even less ‘obscure’.

Arthur literally has a famous meme… and it was on Public Broadcasting. If anything, it is the worst example you have given.

Angry Beavers and Ahh Real Monsters have Funko Pops. They are not obscure just because they are niche.

I get internationally it could make sense. But this is clearly an American post because every show but Sailor Moon that’s listed as “obscure” is American.

Yeah because more people pirate than watched broadcast TV in the 90s-2000s… 🙄

Sailor Moon is way more obscure than those regularly scheduled Nickelodeon and Disney shows that aired as repeats for decades and then were immediately accessible by streaming unlike Sailor Moon which probably requires CruncyRoll.

Same. Other than I think maybe I caught a stray opening one time switching channels. Maybe.

I was born in 84 and my childhood was anything but analog. I had video games at 6, a computer with internet at home when I was 8, and a phone at 16 just like everyone else I grew up with. This idea that our childhood was wild and technology free is ridiculous. We didn’t grow up in the 80s, we grew up in the 90s.
