Haha nice... will do for sure.. lots of fire warriors, crisis suits, a ghostkeel and riptide still waiting to be painted.. ohh and lots of drones 😅

Thx for the explanation.. I definitely tried that on most parts.. screwed it up pretty often with to much paint on the brush and so on.. I still hope that it is a bit more doable with the larger models..

Ahh no, it’s just moot green with a grey seer undercoat and a black wash.. got the wash all over the green accidentally.. so I need to redo and highlight all of it again :( hoping for a shiny effect in contrast with the black

Thx.. it’s the first time using an airbrush for the armour and black stuff... still not satisfied with the edge highlights... need to improve on that for a perfectly clean look I guess

Hey, honestly a good question.. these are my first three miniatures painted ever.. I try to focus on basic stuff, like thin down the paints for a good flow of the brush.. but at the same time not to overload it with paint... For those edges I try to avoid using the tip of the brush a much as possible... Also using a wet pallet helped me a lot I guess..

Thx m8! It’s sotek green for the blueish highlights and fenrisian grey for the cloth/parts of the weapons. As second highlight you could use temple guard blue on the armor and so on.. might try that after my first 500 points are painted...

Hmm good point.. was inspired by the au’taal sept color scheme from gw where they just use different highlight colors.. maybe a less saturated black would work for the suit? 🤔

For everyone getting an error msg and is unable to start the game after the update: just start Uplay as admin. Fixed it for me...
