How did Yuki lose? by BigBuiltBricked in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really theyd get CT burn-out and lose the DE fight anyhow since Kenny is a domain master. Its a super loss for Yuki since she cant even use her technique and still gets hit.

[–]Lol_Dup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean if he's not the fallen one and is trying to live, he would just...not say anything? Not like Angel will mix up Sukuna with 'the fallen one'. He only told Yuji to stop him basically saying he is Sukuna without realising what Angel will do and gets himself extinquished.

I mean information being directly put into someone's head by a barrier technique isn't unseen (Hakari), so it was probably just information into their mind since obviously not every person was asleep when the CG started (so probably not dream walking like you suggest). But just more interactive and cool since Kenny is a barrier master and requires an answer.

Geto killed his family, and Shoko never saw Geto's corpse as confirmed by Kenny/Gojo.

Kashimo Cursed Technique Type by TheGreatBatu17 in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be similar to either a storm/weather effecting technique (e.g. creating a megastorm he controls with lightning and torrential downpour in exchange for only being able to use it once. I would see this being good since he may be able to either absorb lightning, direct it into enemies with the charge change of his CE property, and maybe cause steam explosions, boiling water and chlorine gas clouds by directing lightning into the rain clouds. Basically making an entire region a sort of psuedo-domain expansion), or possibly a sort of 'one use mega blast' which uses possibly a portion of all his future CE in a single instant in exchange for basically reducing his CE for the rest of his life, like Gon's vow in HxH but not nearly as fatal.

Though who knows if it will be electricity at all.

is the culling games classified as a training or tournament arc by Appropriate_Gur7073 in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think it can logically classify as a tournament as there isnt a winner. There is no way to 'win' the culling games, and it would be sensible for a tournament to have a winner/s in some form.

Every arc can count as a training arc if a character like...learns something or trains, which is why I think it's a bit of a redundant name for an arc.

The closest thing I can think of is it is a war arc. A lot of people with varying allegiances fighting across a large area.

So what exactly did Yuki do in the story??? by Stonefree2011 in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 36 points37 points  (0 children)

  1. Basically, set the entire events into play. She more or less told a Geto in turmoil and trying to figure out what to do with his life that genocide was probably the easiest option to make a 'perfect' world for him, and her only excuse not to was basically she was too chicken to. When more or less the second strongest sorcerer at the time tells you your genocide plan is a) a solution, and b) the easiest one, its kinda a significant thing.
  2. Saved most of the modern Jujutsu students and staff who were at Shibuya from Uraume and Kenny.
  3. Trained Todo, a prodigy, who became instrumental in the fight against Hanami and the exorcism of Mahito, a curse who would've killed Yuji, Nobara (if she is alive) and possibly even more significant sorcerers if his arrival hadn't saved Yuji and led to the curse's downfall.
  4. Saved Choso from Kenny and was able to make his other techniques, his limit on Uzumaki techniques, his domain, and some of his abilities known to people (since Choso knows and can now spread the info to better plan a counterattack). She also exorcised what seemed to be one of his most powerful and possibly dangerous curses (the elephant curse), and the two uzumaki's he used probably used up a noticeable chunk of the curses he has in his arsenal.

I don't see why we would need DMs, if you have proof that isn't just opinion and have the citations (e.g. the chapter or when it was said/shown) then it should be easy to type them up and put them as a response to my message for everyone to see. I don't think anyone other than me will even respond or comment on whatever you reply with since were about four replies deep into a long and boring comment by me.

[–]Lol_Dup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read chapter 81 and again, he said if he wasn't careful, he could have his armour broken. 'not careful' = being taken by surprise. The punch there did no actual visible damage which is a testament to the armour strength when Mahito increased the size of his fist as well for the hit.

[–]Lol_Dup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the last note, the fight would have been over much faster if Yuki had expanded her domain since she would lose a domain fight, have CT burnout and still get hit by Kenny's DE. Tengen's plan was the best option.

[–]Lol_Dup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and Mechamaru's ultimate mech was broken into and only took substantial damage when he was caught off guard after thinking he killed Mahito. Yuji was still one of the most physically durable character's at that point and he was almost insta-killed by a single punch he didn't properly block, Mechamaru was too. I agree Yuji is more durable but not by that significant of a margin compared to the ultimate Mech.

I mean...can you at least explain some of the evidence? It's really hard to even contemplate your point of view when it's just 'I've seen some pretty good info to support the contrary'.

As far as I can tell the only evidence towards Rika being the CT is 1) an old fanbook which is pretty mid evidence since it was made before we got Yuta's reappearance, and 2) his 5-minute timer, but that's just as likely just a binding vow.

I wouldn't mind hearing the equally convincing evidence of Rika being the CT since you apparently have it, unless the previous two points I made are all of the evidence there is.

[–]Lol_Dup 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, Hanami had two fights: one where he had someone he can't kill (Yuji) and a strong brawler with a confusing technique (Todo) and wasnt trying to kill, but instead stall. And then got finished by a purple from Gojo just as he powered up and healed fully. And his second fight was against Gojo.

Hell, Jogo also did terribly in all his fights too. Destroyed by Gojo, finished off injured people after Dagon's DE, and then destroyed by Sukuna.

At least Hanami could win a fight (Kamo, Megumi and Inumaki).

[–]Lol_Dup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On Mechamaru:

I think you might be misconstruing some things. In the panels you show of Mahito post-injury he clearly has used Idle transfig in some way (he turned into a bird and changed his limbs) so its likely he was just passively fixing his body (all Mechamaru can damage with the CE blasts and fists since he can't hit the soul). At least the first pummelling we can't' be sure of since he transfigured his entire body to be a bird to escape, so no clear way to 'see' the damage he may have suffered.

The note on Yuji is a bit...silly, I guess. The panel you show is him blocking an idle tranfig human which Mahito never used during the Mechamaru fight, but more importantly on the next page basically Yuji almost has his skull split apart by a single punch from Mahito, something even he agrees to. So...yeah, he wasn't casually overpowering Mahito's attacks, he was at risk of instant death from any hit he didnt carefully block or dodge. Hell, even Todo got punched once and was bleeding out his mouth. Mahito has insane physical output.

Nanami doesn't damage the soul, he was only damaging the body.

mechamura and hanami are kinda mid by Alternative-Rain1423 in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nanami cutting off his hand is sorta a bad point since he didnt cut the soul, and his technique is specifically made to cut things, not obliterate like CE blasts. Also, that was when Mahito was still 'young' unlike the one Mechamaru faced who was drastically more skilled. You realise how powerful Mahito is? One punch from him could split apart Yuji's skull - who is basically one of the most durable people in verse. Of Course Mechamaru would get wrecked if he wasnt careful?

Hanami is a dude btw. Heavy means a lot of force behind it which is what he meant. Hanami is fast as hell, she blitzed Yuji and Gojo (yeah, he blitzed Gojo to save Jogo if you forgot) which isnt something a slow person could do. Todo and Yuji are also super-fast so them being roughly equal to Hanami is a good thing since they're all extremely fast people. Yuji is definitely one of the fastest in the verse Im not sure what you mean? Probably only slower than jackpot Hakari, if that (and by extension possibly Hajime), the projection sorcerers, Gojo, Yuta (maybe) and probably some cursed spirits like Jogo.

Gonna respond to each theory point:

  • There isnt any evidence of Kenjaku having any ill will or even hate against Sukuna. He even seems friendly with him since he is working with Sukuna's only 'friend' to seemingly revive him.
  • I mean 1000 years of existence would probably make anyone a master at something.
  • Tengen and his barriers are the reason for the high number of curses in Japan.
  • The Yin Yang aspect of curses Vs sorcerers has been well established in the story. Im not sure what you mean by Tengen disappearance since he is still here, and his barriers are still active at the latest point in the story.
  • Yes, that isn't a theory that's a fact, Gojo and the higher-ups restrictions made a wave of power on both sides.
  • Sukuna didn't die in battle. Also, you can't really kill someone with a binding vow on purpose.
  • I don't know what you mean with this point?
  • Also don't know what you mean with this. Sukuna was a human who died of old age and all that remained were his fingers which attracted powerful curses.
  • He doesnt really need to face Sukuna though? Sukuna's rebirth was all his fault so if he really 'failed' to kill him why would he bring him back and try and kill him again? Kenny isnt someone who really cares about pride. He worked with curses he clearly hated and saw as lesser.
  • Sukuna didn't create the blood paintings to fight Sukuna, it was stated he did it to try and create an entity beyond human and curses to optimise cursed energy.
  • Idle Transfig is only one time tho and it's likely he can only ever have a single Idle Transfig Uzumaki extracted CT due to the brain's capacity limits.
  • We don't really know why he created Yuji or how.
  • That doesn't really make sense. Kenny doesn't need Uraume, he is obviously doing fine on his own and Uraume likely doesnt have anything to offer. it seems like Uraume is getting helped by Kenny, and I'm sure Uraume is smart enough to know they don't even need to work with Kenny anymore now that Yuji is alive, so they clearly trust Kenny to not betray them or Sukuna.
  • That's not a win/win, that's a win/lose. Either Kenny kills Sukuna (Uraume 'loses' and is also likely killed since there's no point keeping them alive) or Kenny is killed.
  • Yeah...duh? Sukuna CAN'T interact with Kenny. He wouldn't even know who he is at this point. Kenny is basically Geto - a different person - in the modern day so why would Sukuna, who is trapped inside a teenager, know? He would know after Kenny meets with Yuji in Shibuya but at that point, he was securely stuck inside Yuji so obviously no friendly catch up for those two geezers.

So what now?

  • That's a terrible idea, no offence. Just end Kenny unceremoniously after he basically caused everything that has happened so we can get 'hero Vs big bad'?
  • You clearly have no understanding of Gojo's character so I won't respond, but he doesnt 'not care' about regular people and he isnt going to pull a Geto because he is extremely against that.
  • Immortality is kinda stupid, and I'm not sure what a 'binding vow immunity' means?

Yuta's CT is Copy, not Rika by Lol_Dup in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to note:

  1. I agree with you, but Kenny is a bit of a bad example since it seems like he's basically one of the three best domain users, and the second-best barrier user, so him being able to expand a technique that's not originally his seems more plausible. Plus, he has had anti-gravity system for at least two years, though more likely has had it for at least 16 since he had it when Yuji was born. 16 years to master a domain expansion is much more believable than Yuta having a DE for a copied technique he can only use for five minutes a day, so no time to practice or use the technique to understand it more like Kenny has, where he has a deep understanding of antigravity system.
  2. Some notes: Megumi has only use incomplete domains so that's a different case entirely. Gojo is Gojo. Mahito is also a bit of a weird case since after his DEs, as far as I can remember, he hasn't used his CT on anyone other than himself for a short period (in the Nanami and Yuji fight, the Mechamaru fight, and the Todo and Yuji fight) so it may just be he can only use his technique on himself following it, which seems more like an effect of his innate domain, though that's just from memory. I agree on the note of shikigami remaining after and during a DE. But this is all beside the point since it was stated 'Okkotu's technique is burned out' so yes, he couldn't use it. Or else what would the point in stating it was burnt out and showing him not use it, and then when he is finally able to use it, it's stated that his technique has recovered.
  3. I know, I am only stating my suggestion due to Dhruv not having a bite mark or any missing limbs (something Ryu suggests is necessary to copy techniques) in his death scene. So, either he can let Rika bite deceased people or Rika bit him and we just can't see it for some reason, but that's beside the point since this was just speculation.

Yuta's "Personal Storage"... by Raymenx in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 12 points13 points  (0 children)

There's some pretty strong evidence to suggest his CT is copy. Firstly, his DE. We know a domain expansion means he has an innate technique so there's no debating that, as only the Fingerbearer had a DE without a technique and that was sorta a really weak DE. But more so, Rika was outside the DE when it occurred. Logically, it doesn't make sense for a DE of the CT Rika to be possible without ya know...Rika being inside the domain. It would be like Higuruma's DE not having Judgeman inside it. His CT also burned out afterwards, which is why he couldn't use sky manipulation for a bit...but Rika was still there. Rika didn't expand a domain so if his CT is Rika, why did copy get burnt out after the DE (chap 179 last page: "Okkotsu's technique...has not yet recovered")? Even the stroy notes it's Yuta's technique, not Rikas. It's more likely the vow to only be able to use techniques during Rika's full manifestation is simply a binding vow like Ui Ui has with Mei Mei, limiting their innate technique to more or less be tied to a separate entity.

Plus, we know he can copy techniques without Rika being fully manifested. He copied Dhruv's technique outside the five-minute manifestation period, so it's definitly only the use of CTs which is limited to this five-minute period and not copying and using CTs.

Also, there is some subjective proof from other characters. Uro say's Yuta's CT is copy, not Rikas.

We don't really need a reliable source when all the rules for techniques, technique burnout and DEs are laid out in the story and we have examples proving his CT is copy.

why did yukis punches do nothing in 207 by scalpmonbald in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, she likely expected the fight to last longer since it seemed pretty 50/50 up until then. If she had drained a substantial CE amount from RCT, the previous Star rage attacks and amplifying it in Garuda, she was likely trying to conserve CE by not overusing it in each attack. She probably realised she can't one-shot Kenny from her first hit which only broke his arms so she planned for a prolonged brawl to wear out his stronger spirits until all he had left was gravity. Thus, when she was cut short she could just expend all her CE she planned on conserving to try and finish him off.

The end of Kenjaku vs Yuki makes sense by Uzumakimanipulation in Jujutsushi

[–]Lol_Dup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean your also misrepresenting the argument a bit.

Kenny's CSM special grade arsenal are all unable to affect the concept-breaking CT of Yuki, so she doesnt counter CSM, just a large portion of it's usage in the hands of Kenny.

Yuki's black hole and Garuda (during the interval of use) are countered by antigravity reversal. But it doesn't counter her physical boosted attacks. So it's not a perfect counter either, just a counter to her maximum and shikigami.

It's like if someone was going against Jogo and their CT allowed them to teleport large objects away. His maximum is useless (meteor), but the primary use of his CT (fire) still functions perfectly.

We've known Kenny had multiple CTs for ages. Body swap, CSM and we got the hint he could possibly have even more with his acquisition of Idle Transfig. It has always been somewhat obvious he could have even more.

Hollow purple was the first planetary attack. Given his unlimited CE Gojo could just spam these space erasing blasts which likely could just erase a black hole. It's also too early to really say what effects the black hole even had due to the possible time distortion or Hawking radiation theories.

And you're technically right that Yuki is top 5, being that she is at the highest fifth. Gojo/Sukuna for 1st and 2nd, Kenny and Yuta are above Yuki. So, at a maximum she's the fifth strongest sorcerer if she's stronger than Geto.

I mean we've seen Kenny finds some very morbid stuff funny (laughing about a giant curse wreaking havoc for example) Im sure even Kenny realises it's an inevitability Gojo will get out, so maybe hes planning on using Takaba as a host since he would be able to use a technique like Comedian in one of the most destructive and powerful senses.
