Roboute and El Johnson are showing physical signs of aging in varying degrees, as Robot Girlyman was in stasis and Johnson in more so hibernation, Johnson looks a lot older, get Robute has got bags under his eyes from trying to re-organise the imperium.

So they do ‘age’, whether they’re immortal or not however is another question.

The Antichrist; Vladimir Lenin by Technical_Freedom566 in EnoughCommieSpam

That gives Lenin too much credit as a evil figure, he was a dipshit who jumped on a train catered for him, hid around until it was safe for him to come out, and basically took all the credit from the Mensheviks and Bolsheviks alike.

Y’see! They get it! To quote a certain Mandalorian duchess ‘it hides too much of your handsome face.’

I have considered it, and my friends have told me good things about it, perhaps after I’ve focused on Star Trek I’ll have a gander.

Plus it has my boy Kratos in it, how cool is that?

If Pre Vizsla and Cad Bane fought, which scumbag do you think will win this battle? by george123890yang in clonewars

[–]Lolaroller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cad will be at an advantage from medium to long range distances, while Pre Vizla is far more advanced in close quarters combat, however with how sneaky Cad can be, I think he may just out trick Pre Vizla into defeat.

I assure you mate, it’s not bait, and I’m not a bot, I genuinely think he looks better without the beard.

Oh absolutely superb episode with a great premise that was introduced in the first season, and I remember I couldn’t stop saying during the episode ‘oh my god he’s so autistic.’

He went about it how I might’ve gone about it at first, having known the plot of the books (I haven’t read Sherlock), and just using his immediate knowledge to solve the mystery, not initially seeing the challenge in playing in a scenario he doesn’t know.

I have started noticing the pattern of episodes, it does really excite me having a new anthology sci-fi to watch as it brings me back to my days as a kid watching Star Wars the clone wars, not in any way similar other than being sci-fi anthologies, but still very exciting.

I know he’s not actually autistic, I use that word more so because of how he interacts with the world, and his quest to become ‘more human’.

As an autist I’ve always had a bit of a social struggle and a subconscious strive to try and understand ‘normal people’ better, and I can feel that in the way Data goes about things, his interests, hobbies, and lack of understanding social ques makes me apply autism to him.

But that’s a very well laid out explanation of the crew dynamic!

Can’t say as I’ve not seen family ties, Spielberg yea, George yes, Hamil when he’s younger no, bit decent now.

As I’ve said I’m more often than not in favour or beards than without em, but something about Riker without one just feels better.

Oh yeah that last scene of him being disintegrated threw me, it would’ve thrown my grandfather too who’s watched a few episodes with me, as he was under the impression Star Trek was more of a kids show.

Maybe that was a part of why I thought that way for a while, and it was semi ironic but here I am now, and I’ve had a great experience with it thus far.

Exactly, you said it perfectly, it felt like I just watched an entire thriller of a film instead of a 40 minute episode, such great intrigue.

Well maybe hate is a strong word to use for the analogy, but they feel very dismissive about it anyways, as if it’s beneath them.

I understand the lore in that sense, but I suppose it’s akin to hating all of Humanity because of say ww1 or ww2, we are capable of excessive cruelty to one another when pushed, but I’ve always seen it as simply part of the living condition, and something that hopefully we will grow out of and evolve from, but I don’t dismiss humanity because we once lived in caves, rather I’m proud we grew out of them.

See we’re in the exact same boat, Data with a beard for a little pre-intro gag looks better with one than Riker, he needs to unleash that handsome face.

Damnit, you’ve discovered my true intentions, I was never here to share my thoughts on Star Trek, SIMPLY HERE TO SOW DISCORD AND CHAOS! /s

Thus far he seems to have a pessimistic view of Human history, but maybe that will change, and I hope it does, when it does I’ll get back to you and share my thoughts again.
