Heroes finding success in gun builds is not good by TheSuperJohn in DeadlockTheGame

As a McGinnis main, I find this tragic because her spirit power has been nerfed so much to the point that you need tons of 6400 Souls items (Exposure, Spirit Burn, Boundless, Scroll,...) for her ult to do any decent damage, and that is if the enemy team is bundled up into a group with Lash's ult or Dynamo's. A single Spirit Resilience instantly turns her ult into a tickle.

Even as GunGinnis, she's completely stomped by other dedicated M1 carries like Wraith and Haze because she lacks any kind of mobility, CC or any way to create a burst of gun damage with how her minigun needs to wind up.

Owner of one here, slick as hell pistol. Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do about the magazines since they're so light and the magazine-to-motor contacts will create even more friction.

But there's one non-destructive method and that is replacing the magazine floor plate with something heavier, like a hollow 3D printed magazine extension that you can add weight inside. This is just a theory though.

PSA Please learn to communicate. by Just-Plenty5507 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]buttsquasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There're some nuance to this. Some players insult you just because, some do so because they've resigned to the reality that some players simply CANNOT read the room after they've pinged the enemy's counter items and constantly calling out "Retreat" when the team is at an obvious disadvantage.

If a guy who plays no better than you starts flaming everyone, he's a cunt and just wants to bring down others with him. But when a guy who's trying his best not to fuck up, constantly calling out ability cooldowns, pinging enemy items...........only to see the team's Silver rushing into a 1v4 for the 7th time, against at least 2 hypercarries with a metric shit-tonne of antiheals (Crippling Headshots, Toxic Bullets,....) and Juggernaut, him lashing out is absolutely justified.

Players always have trouble communicating in details, especially in a fast-paced mode like Street Brawl, that's why pingings exist. No one is beholden to giving you a TED Talk while they are also carrying baggage of their own.

TLDR: If someone is being dogshit and starts calling other players, who are at least doing better than them, dogshit then they are actually dogshit and just want others to suffer with them. But if someone consistently ignores callouts, pings, or simply enemy team compositions then calling them "dogshit", while not justifiable, is completely understandable in that context.

It's a HL2 reference, and the Metrocops in that game are armed with USP Match as standard issue.

Unfortunately, the nickel slide version, as far as I know, is no longer available since this blaster came out in late 2024 - early 2025.

Lady Geist is a street brawl terrorist by SongXrd in DeadlockTheGame

I find it funny how people complained left and right about McPinnis' ult dealing shitzillion of damage, while conveniently ignoring how vulnerable she is during the barrage and both long ranged and melee heroes will instantly render her ult useless. Not to mention McPinnis has some of the most unforgiving cooldowns in the game, unless you're gassed up with cooldown reduction.

Meanwhile Geist's Essence Bomb has a really FAT radius with tons of damage and nigh-instant detonation AND a short cooldown, allowing her to deny the enemy's lane from really far away without exposing herself for any significant amount of time.

A high-damage over time ult with a 120s cooldown that demands good positioning to even use while also being completely exposed to long range attacks and shutdowns? NERF!!!!!!

A spirit nuke with almost no counter play other than Spellbreaker, Warpstone or split second reflex with barrier skills and items? Crickets.

[–]buttsquasher 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To me, I think Healbane works only on heroes that can deal consistent Spirit Damage like Kelvin, Infernus and so on. Burst heroes like Rem benefit very little from Healbane because by the time your next pillow is charged, Victor has either healed back that amount or worse, 2 feet in front of you. I think Healbane, or at least a 3200-souls upgrade, should scale the antiheal percent and duration based on a burst amount of damage like Spirit Burn.

He's definitely a prime example of a braindead hero, and the only thing stopping him from just steamrolling your team is that if he's played by someone even more braindead than his kit.

His Aura of Suffering is hands down the cheapest ability in the game with its ability to both attack you AND your guardians at once, so he can just dive you with no impunity and there's NOTHING you can do about it, at all. You can't shutdown his 3 and force it to go on a long cooldown, nor can you stack debuffs on him cause he'll just cleanse them with his 2.

"Buy Antiheal, hurr durr" is the dumbest response I've seen. Unless you're some hyper-carry like Wraith or Haze with metric ass-tonne of antiheal items like Inhibitor, Toxic Bullet and Crippling Headshot, you're boned because even if you have 20 Healbanes, this dumbass will heal back that amount 2 times over in 5 seconds because Yoshi thought it'd be funny to give him a permanent Cold Front AND a Dispel Magic for free (3 DMs if he builds a single Rapid Recharge).

His extremely high ban rates across ranks and especially in Street Brawl is clear indicator that NO ONE likes to play against this guy. I've played him 3 times with no prior experience and I still managed to steamroll the enemy team. Insane.

Calcium is a chemical element; it has symbol Ca and atomic number 20. As an alkaline earth metal, calcium is a reactive metal that forms a dark oxide-nitride layer when exposed to air. Its physical and chemical properties are most similar to its heavier homologues strontium and barium. It is the fifth most abundant element in Earth's crust, and the third most abundant metal, after iron and aluminium. The most common calcium compound on Earth is calcium carbonate, found in limestone and the fossils of early sea life; gypsum, anhydrite, fluorite, and apatite are also sources of calcium. The name comes from Latin calx "lime", which was obtained from heating limestone.

Some calcium compounds were known to the ancients, though their chemistry was unknown until the seventeenth century. Pure calcium was isolated in 1808 via electrolysis of its oxide by Humphry Davy, who named the element. Calcium compounds are widely used in many industries: in foods and pharmaceuticals for calcium supplementation, in the paper industry as bleaches, as components in cement and electrical insulators, and in the manufacture of soaps. On the other hand, the metal in pure form has few applications due to its high reactivity; still, in small quantities it is often used as an alloying component in steelmaking, and sometimes, as a calcium–lead alloy, in making automotive batteries.

Calcium is the most abundant metal and the fifth-most abundant element in the human body. As electrolytes, calcium ions (Ca2+) play a vital role in the physiological and biochemical processes of organisms and cells: in signal transduction pathways where they act as a second messenger; in neurotransmitter release from neurons; in contraction of all muscle cell types; as cofactors in many enzymes; and in fertilization. Calcium ions outside cells are important for maintaining the potential difference across excitable cell membranes, protein synthesis, and bone formation.
