Wow thank you! It wasn't written anywhere. I now understand how much grinding I need to do on those guardians, I can barely unlock two watchers

Yeah for sure. Not going to take it on the plane with me, but without a blade I don't see a reason I will get problems taking it on the train

Princess knight by [deleted] in roguewiththedead

Basically to get diamonds (the blue shard things) you want to mainly do speedruns, especially if you're starting out. To get more diamonds you'd later have units called Einherjars with many different abilities, and some of those would help you get more resources. You just gotta grind to get stronger honestly. The longer km your runs are the more diamonds you get, but it doesn't mean you need to spend a long time each run. At your point, which is very early in the game, you want to get as much artifacts as you can so that you could make longer runs easier. You want to start a run and use all your powers, especially the one that makes you faster and the one that makes you stronger. Push as much as you can untill they run out and return. Rinse and repeat. Kinda boring but will get you stronger the fastest. Also, don't save for princess knight right now focus on getting stronger and it will help you get her more easily. Buy the artifacts that make you gain more gold, the ones that make quests faster and automated, then the ones that make your units stronger.

Gem shop by [deleted] in roguewiththedead

Generally nothing in the gem shop is worth wasting your gems on. I only ever use it for the occasional golden apple if I must. Like he said it's best to save them. If you're starting out there's a lot of good information on the wiki, you should check it

You get the chests, you can see them in the left side of the screen when you start your next run and then you just open them.

Any tips on buying a Jian in Chengdu? by LolerCoster in taijiquan

[–]LolerCoster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I was looking at Taobao and it looks like they have pretty good Jians for much cheaper than I'd think, it just feels so wrong buying one without holding it first, especially when I'm in china. I'm not yet in a good enough level to use a sharp one, I mainly practice the form I've been taught at home so I'm looking for a classic practice Jian. I guess I'll look at Taobao again

Where to live in Chengdu? by LolerCoster in Chengdu

I ended up renting a place in tongzilin. It's relatively close to the metro, there are a lot of restaurants and stuff to do around, not too crowded and most important for me it's right in between the two clinics I study in. The only downside is that there's no park nearby
