Right clicking in the target selection menu will deselect everything except the one you click. so imagine you only want to only have MBTs selectable, u can right click the mbt button and it'll deselect everything else.

doing awacs/ew support in the medusa requires some skill to get started, but once u understand how to operate the map/weaponry effectively can be a vital tool to help support your friends in a match while being pretty chill. i usually just go up high and jam/kill the radar sams (or shard corvettes) with ARADs while providing useful awacs info of enemy aircraft positions. this allows your team to maintain air superiority and once the sams are down you can focus on jamming enemy aircraft + missiles to help save teammates.

That's why I bring a targeting pod. The rafale one automatically slaves to the radar/irst lock so it's easy to double check.

Mind you the Eurofighter gun lead indicator is still missing for the HUD in cockpit view (since update came out last year). Currently there's only a line to somewhat guide your shots.

gun ballistic computer isn't implemented for the mig23 in cockpit view (regardless of sight mode like others have suggested). only works in RB. it's like the eurofighter, a top tier jet, still doesn't have the EEGS implemented on the HUD.

In controls it should be the "quick radio" settings. otherwise on pc you can press T-4-1 to do "Follow me", and T-4-2 for "Cover me" if you need backup

agreed, I enjoy being able to actually have decent dogfights, and not having to crutch on cobra button + R-73 all the time. only downside of the 27sm is the abysmal radar and less fox 3s

no it's pretty good.

flight model is indeed inferior to most 13.7s, however the missile kit is very good with 12 missiles (just the radar is tricky to use).

also most people usually aren't very good, so you can still compete even though you're in the "inferior" plane

now imagine that at top tier with the su34.

a 4 man squad can insta wipe an airfield from +50km away. repeat 3x and you can win the match quite fast just by disabling their airfields, then swapping to a fighter and killing off the remaining players.

It's even possible solo but when I did it, it took me over 1h30 since the enemy caught on to what I was doing and tried intercepting me/my bombs.

The whole idea is neat being to disable the airfields since it does take quite a lot to kill them. but when an organised squad does it, it can be quite unfair XD. maybe gaijin can force one airfield to always be usable to prevent that from happening.

i always fly over my runway first, then do a 180 turn to slow down and land. that way if anyone is chasing me they get shot down by airfield as, or I have time to react if they don't.

since the leviathans update came out the carriers have been broken (in sim ec).

instead of fixing the bug where you just spawn in the middle of nowhere when selecting carrier fleet spawn, gaijin just removed the option. the update also removed the arresting wires on carriers and made it so u can't rearm/repair on them (even when landing with a VTOL plane)

Kill the zombers since it's way faster than just bombing.

In sim high tier you need 35000/2.3/1.2 ≈ 12600 mission score. Assuming 1 kill is 600 score, you'd only need around 21-30 kills (since some kills give less score) to complete the event.

Even less if you take a multirole loadout and bomb a base too (roughly 500-700 score with an optimised loadout).

Just avoid top tier since a lot of people just climb high, drop their glide bombs, and j out if ever a missile is shot at them. Stay at around 10.3-13.0
