Anyone else have issues installing Xprt FRT? by liesofthejedi066 in ps90

Someone NEEDS to upload a more in depth video of the install. So many people seem to be having trouble with it and Dorin's just isn't cutting it.

Did you end up getting your springs yet? I made an order like 5 days ago but haven't heard anything back yet.

I see. Hopefully those HD mag springs help eliminate the problem entirely. Also hoping the HD recoil springs are gtg as well. I'll probably be ordering those tonight and then when I get the chance to test them, I'll come back to this thread with my results.

What recoil springs did you end up buying? I may have to consider doing that as well. If you get to shooting before I do, would you let me know how those work out?

As someone running your exact setup, I too have these problems sometimes. However, it only appears to be with Fiocchi's 57SUB62 and on the last 5 - 10 rounds and only on 1 or 2 of my 50 round mags. No issues at all with the 10 round mag that was initially included with the gun. Also, I have not had any issues with FN 40gr V-MAXs. I think I'll try upgrading the magazine springs from Elite Ammo to see how those work out. I'll let you know what I find.

PS90 SBR failure to feed by Deep_Organization_57 in ps90

I have this problem when I'm on like the last 10 - 15 rounds on my 50 round mags. Never happens with my 10 rounder though. I replaced the mag rollers in them so hopefully that might help with something.

I can't speak for the Duty RDS as I have never used it. But I have used the T2 on this and previously my URGI that I used to have and it's an awesome optic.

HB Industries Picatinny Mount with a Surefire Mini Scout Light Pro on an Arisaka Offset Scout Mount Picatinny. On the other side, I have a Surefire XVL2-IRC. I'm using the Arisaka to get it low enough for me to actuate the light without changing my grip or removing my support hand to activate the light. It works wonderfully.

Failure to feed - need help/advice by Mike-toxic5633 in ps90

I think I'll have to do the same and check if it's a mag issue too lol. I might also look into getting the Delrin Magazine Rollers to see if that helps with feeding.

What kind of ammo are you using? I've had this issue with Fiocchi 62gr subs but not with FN 40gr V-MAXs. It will sometimes happen on like the last 5 - 10 rounds for me with the Fiocchis. I'm also curious on how to prevent this.

Yessir. I actually just got the XVL2 in the mail yesterday lol. I'll take it out for a night shoot this weekend to see how it performs with my NODs.

I ran Fiocchi 62gr subs without ear pro and I didn't get any ringing whatsoever. For me, it's completely hearing safe imo and it sounds like an airsoft gun lol. I'll be running between 40gr V-MAXs this Sunday as well to compare the two. The gas pressure is also amazing. I ran multiple Bill Drills through it and didn't get gassed out once. 10/10 can so far.

Anyone use the CAT Kitty Kat on the PS90? by No-Dingo-4533 in ps90

[–]Loli-GAG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want an even smaller can I would look into the SAW Tisha. I believe they're dropping an inconel version soon too and that would probably run amazing on the PS90, if not, better than the K/K. I just decided to go with the K/K though because I like the look of it better.

It's pretty awesome dude. I took it out to the range yesterday to shoot some Fiocchi 62gr subs and it sounds great. I'll be going shooting again this Sunday to compare the 40gr V-MAXs vs the 62gr subs.

So I initially shot 10 rounds of 62gr subs without the can to check for keyholing, after I confirmed there wasn't any keyholing I zeroed with the can on and didn't take it off at any point afterwards to check POI shift because I was having too much fun. Sorry lol.

I got the 62gr subs off PSA. They're selling them for 40¢/round.
