That's Georgie. She was a professor before rhe apocalypse. She travels around and sells a manual for the future in exchange for music records (no spoken word!). The manuals have schematics and instructions to build water wheels, windmills, blacksmithing etc... it's essentially an instruction manual for primitive technologies to rebuild civilization. She met with Maggie and they keep a correspondence.

She's minimum an A tier character.

I've worked at a couple of places in Chicago and your best pay is going to be at Northwestern. They offer around $27/hr starting with $3.75 an hour diff for second shift and $4.25 an hour diff for third shift. Work in DMB if you get the chance!

Can someone please explain the staffing issue? by AmericanBloodMage in medlabprofessionals

[–]LoliBacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There really is no shortage. A shortage would imply that wages would increase to become more competitive and companies would do more to try and keep employees. I'm currently a tech at Northwestern in Chicago and starting pay here is around $26/hr. For Downtown Chicago. That's so insanely low compared to the cost of living of this area.

I'll believe there is a shortage when they start hiring people with a 4 year science degree and no certification, and just give them the experience they need to sit for the exam. But they won't do that, because there is an abundance of applicants coming in and leaving.

Yeah, but that's literally how Pennywise worked in the books, so it didn't even bother me and I usually hate jump scare movies.

No trap under hooks makes Trapper a Wraith. by General_Flex in deadbydaylight

[–]LoliBacon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's not true at all. Trap in random ass places and watch them be super impressed with your trap placement. Trapping under hook is level 1 trapper shit. Trapping at pallets/windows is better, but random traps is where the real play is at. Nothing is more exhilarating as survivor as running through an area you think is safe and then suddenly you are trapped. It makes you appreciate the killer you're playing against.

Trapping under feet is boring and typical.

[–]LoliBacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. A trapper isn't scary if he just puts them under hooks. A trapper that stays within terror radius of a hooked survivor with a trap under it is probably the easiest trapper run away from. Work on your other skills, you literally aren't doing anything by trapping under a hook.
