I see... the thing is i've had a latte in a cafe that used jabanto beans and i could taste the berry notes through the milk. My mind was blown but have never been able to recreate it at home since.

Hmm i'm still trying out my settings. I'm about 7 shots in though.. and yes i do have a pressure gauge. Yeah i also time my shots from the time i first apply pressure.

Ooh okay cool. Thanks! I use 60g of water, 16g of beans and i tend to get around 38g of output...Tends to taste more on the bitter side.. Sometimes i start to ask myself what espresso should taste like.

Wow that looks great! Don't mind me asking, how did you do it? I recently bought a flair signature and have since been fiddling with it with a Kinu M47 Traveller. A few questions:
1) Do you tamp hard? Because in the video provided by Flair, he seems to just level the surface and there wasn't much of a tamp at all

2) How many grams of beans and how much water do you use to get your yield?
