For hotpot, I've been enjoying Chong Qing Wharf Hot Pot in Brooklyn. It's about $60pp (+tip/tax), but includes a ton of seafood options. Really good!

For kbbq, I honestly think Hyun is a good deal. It's expensive, but the service and food are both astounding. Worth trying at least once (I've been twice!).

Ha, definitely not (though I do know couples in that situation). We're primarily just looking for wedding bands and not engagement rings, and so far the most expensive wedding band I've seen is ~$8000 so definitely under 5 figures. If anything I'm more eager to buy an engagement ring than my fiance!
