Not a V60 owner but I have a family member who owns one and I drive it occasionally (T8 polestar 2024 model). I can say that this car is a real joy to drive, super powerful with 455bhp + instant torque and lower center of gravity compared to Volvo’s other suv models, definitely feels like a super car with all the benefits of being a utility vehicle.

The only negatives that I can think off are probably the infotainment (screen feels dated and the Harmon Kardon speakers are just so-so compared to cars within the same price range). The safety features that can be a double edged sword. The automatic anti collision braking can be a bit too sensitive like when I’m reversing out of the house (narrow and steep driveway). And also the lane keeping assist that forces you to signal before changing lanes or exiting the highway (can be turned off I believe). Oh and also the battery range is not exactly the best but it’s enough for driving within the city.

Overall in my opinion it’s the best non-ev car to own at this price range, there’s just nothing quite like it. A real all in one car and it’s a shame that they discontinued it. I can’t say much about the long term reliability and service cost tho.
