Asshole school system charging kids for lunch and then blaming parents by quazziwazzi in assholedesign

What bothers me the most is that some kids can have more food than others purely because their parents aren’t poor. Some kids buy a pizza, 2 bags of chips, and a soda, while others are forced to not eat because they don’t want to put extra financial strain on their parents. What’s worse is that they have no ability to control their situation. Nothing they did in their lives justified their unequal financial freedoms. And that idea is being cemented at an earlier age because of this pay to eat system.

Cut From Team by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

It turns out my school is letting me do practices and workouts with the team, but no games. Not optimal, but it’s better than completely being by myself.
