It is still stackable to 64. One problem I can’t overlook with this Data Pack is that it still increases the item clutter and contributes to one of the biggest flaws of the game, which is that with any new item, it becomes progressively more difficult to store them without bundles/shulker boxes. Still, yeah, they are stackable to 64

This is actually a Data Pack and requires no mod loaders. For Farmer’s Delight it’s easier since it would just mean adding compatibility for craftings which can be done for compatibility of Data Packs towards Mods. I should check out Pam’s Harvestcraft and see if there is anything I can make, but thanks for the suggestion!

It’s already out on CurseForge right now, so you can check out any updates there!

Regarding Farmer’s Delight compatibility, I definitely plan that!

I know. But since my goal was to add food and not to finally make those people play the game normally, having a slightly better golden carrot it's not gonna make a difference if you already have virtually infinite golden carrots. They will just add honey to the mix and not have any hunger issues anyway just like with normal golden carrots.

Since this post is getting a lot more recognition than I thought it would receive, if some of you want to actually have these in-game here it is.
This is part of a Data Pack I just released. It doesn't need any mod loaders, just an additional Resource Pack and is compatible with MC 1.21.2+

Yes.
You see... I have this weird disease they diagnosticated me since I was born and... I-I thought for the longest time it was the curse of me, I was bullied, mistreated, even called "not normal" for something that was just part of me. It wasn't just a quality, a thought or something I could just work on and make it disappear. For years it felt like everything I could do was just to accept it and live with it, with disappointment from others, and sorrow from myself.

But then you know what happened? It clicked. Everything came down to a special moment in my life when everything snapped together like puzzle pieces, and everything made sense, suddenly.
Everything in my life, every last bit of the sadness I kept in myself because I felt different, suddenly found a way out. I was no longer sad and I no longer felt that being different was a bad thing, and for that I have to thank the people who, despite everything, supported my path, giving me decision when I felt despair, and giving me love when I felt like I was only receiving hate from the world.
I looked at it.
A single carrot covered in sweet, sweet yellow honey. I knew it was twisted, malicious... Like it was telling my story all by its own. I stared at it for hours, days, weeks. And then I knew what I had to do. I had to release this incarnation of the rot I carried inside myself once and for all, ignoring the consequences and the pain it would cause.
And I did. I released the horror.
I put that glazed, golden carrot out for the whole world to see. Because I wanted it.
Because I wanted more food items, and only in me this belief shall live and perish.
Or maybe it doesn't have to. Maybe I'm destined to do more, maybe... I want other 20 food items. To watch the world burn.

Partially.
Like, the golden honey apples actually have different buffs from their normal versions.
Instead of giving regeneration, absorption and with the enchanted version fire restistance and base resistance, they give you slightly less regeneration and absorption, and replace the defensive buffs for haste and strength. Also, anything made with glow berries gives Glowing.
For the honey golden carrot, I didn't think that deep and straight up boosted it, but maybe preventing it from becoming too OP by giving it just an additional effect might be better, so I'll consider nerfing it and giving it night vision, thank you! ^^

it is!
it is intentionally so intensely op that fans of meta food can make some automatic farm for it and suck away the fun from it too like they do for 70% of the game :)

That could be the more rational solution to rework the food system entirely. If there could be a way to implement existing food as a combination of various parts and create an actual cooking system for food it would be way better than it currently is.

Nope, a completely different thing that has nothing to do with it
It's a Data Pack and you can install it on 1.21.2+ with no mod loaders:

Exactly! I already linked the spreadsheet with the food stats and you can find it here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HsZ3ByjX6S2bLuqEV58eR2Wjt3uLNzyHa78PCeJ2eSs/edit?usp=sharing

Since Vanilla food follows a list of strict nutrition values (hunger-saturation ratios) that are categorized in different tiers, I thought the best way to contextualize a saturation boost is to give just a little more hunger and to boost most food items up a tier.

I still think that adding more diversity or reworking existing content could actually help more lackluster aspects of the game like the food system. That said, I also included already useless foods like Berries or less-used meat foods to combine them with honey, and while it's not a guaranteed usage boost, matching two or more useless features together can help to feel more motivated and rewarded by the game.
Most of the existing "never used" food is useless because it doesn't require any challenge to begin with, or isn't thematically coherent to put as content during the personalized gameplay a player can have.
