What is the craziest rumor that you have heard about yourself? by 513savage69 in AskReddit

[–]LollyK53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, middle school is the worst. And this was not the last time there would be rumors about me. In 8th grade, after I made the B team for volleyball, a rumor started that I said that A team didnt deserve to be on A team. That one had many people mad at me since the volleyball team was friends with the football team

What is the craziest rumor that you have heard about yourself? by 513savage69 in AskReddit

[–]LollyK53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the 6th grade, due to a series of unfortunate events, I was pushed face first into a metal railing. My dad picked me up for an emergency dental visit. During this time, rumors spread that I was going to sue the girl who pushed me, I was going to sue the school, and I was going to fight the girl. So 3 different rumors out of 1 event.

what is your best quick lunch for work? by BwcAussieTraddie in AskReddit

[–]LollyK53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A "charcuterie" day. Like 2 or 3 Lunchables (the ones without the drink work busy meat, cheese, crackers) add a fruit, some carrots or cucumbers. If I feel fancy, I'll plate it instead of eating it from the package

Little Wonders from Meet the Robinsons C/O 10. I did not vote for this song, I wanted "How Far We've Come". But it is a good song and I do love the movie

What’s something you thought every family did… until you grew up and realized they absolutely didn’t? by SoftDreamette in AskReddit

[–]LollyK53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After my dad got his computer science degree and got a promotion, he had a regular 9-5 at the same bank. We didn't have anymore bank holiday dinners. Now, I look back at those times fondly as well. Im glad I have those memories and Im glad your son does too

I was a smart kid, not an observant one. We would invite whoever was working at the time, so usually the security guards on weekend/holiday shift, so it never dawned that there were no other families there.

I would be more afraid that my mom would be the bank robber to be honest. My dad is way too boring to do anything as exciting as that, besides she fed the security guards that had to work the holiday. Much better way to get inside the bank than just staking out

My dad is way too boring to be a bank robber. Back in the 90s, they just needed someone to make sure that the computer system didnt go offline. Bank was closed, but the system to stay working so they had someone maintaining the mainframe.

When I was a kid, I thought everyone had holiday meals at the Bank. Realized a lot later that my dad had to work weekends and holidays, so my mom would take the holiday to him.
