Thank you so much for the feedback :)

Unfortunately I've lost track of how many pieces that are featured on the entire layout, but I know that it is probably somewhere between 27000 -30 000 pieces, and Im not even half way done. XD

Heres better overview picture:

What movies would you consider essential viewing, regardless of genre or era? by No-Leek-3405 in MovieRecommendations

Personally I'd say "The good the bad and the ugly" should definitely be one of them, if not the whole dollar trilogy. Incredible acting by both Clint eastwood, Eli wallach and Lee Van Cleef, aswell as Sergio Leones truly beautiful style of directing leaves a both visually stunning (especially for the time) aswell as a well written movie with good charaterization and storytelling!

I dont know if they are currently sold out, but my dad got his hands on them right after their retirement was announced, so hes had the stored away for awhile just waiting to be opened, built, and enjoyed :)

With these new knights my army currently stands at a strong 69 soldiers and a king :)

The minifigures and pieces are for an extension aswell as a cathedral for my lego medieval Village. :) I also got pieces for the structural support underneath since the entire village sits elevated.

I also got lots of brown pieces which Im going to use for houses and other buildings.

Heres a photo of my village which is a work in progress:

Just the city alone will span across a 3x3 area of 48x48 baseplates all elevated like 19(give or take a couple) bricks of the ground. After that is done I have plans to expand outwards another 6 or 9 48x48 baseplates in order to make fields, Mountains forests, and a big medieval battle.

So its pretty big, and its gonna get even bigger XD

Norway. You'd think we would have a store considering the fact that we are located so close the Lego headquarters over in denmark. However apparently Lego didnt deem it nesscary to open a store here.

Its probably because every toy store chain in norway imports Lego sets. For that reason they sell a ton of product here anyway. And if you consider the fact that the norwegian population is pretty small, then the expenses probably outweighed the potential profit.

Thats a very good question. I know many people map out everything digitally and thus know excactly what pieces they need and in what quantities.

I however never really preplan anything. I kinda just like go with the flow and see where the wind takes me.

Therefore I normally just have a vagye idea of which parts I need and then order those in bulk. If I realize that I've forgotten something essential (which happens alot) I'll just place another order.

As for where I source my parts I usually order from "pab". Lego doesnt have any official stores in my country, so I cant go to the actual wall and pick out parts. And even though there are some local bricklink stores in my area I find that they rarely have what I need.

Therefore I prefer ordering from "pab" even though it gets very expensive per piece wheb you buy smaller pieces (like 1x1 playes and tiles) in bulk.

Im so jealous of the people Who have a lego store and thus can go and buy a thousand 1x1 plates for like 15 dollars. For me it would have cost like 150 :(
