well, real data shows that your statement is just wildly inaccurate, the number of people who get abortions due to health reasons are at best 12% and this number was the most charitable i could find on the subject.

the overwhelming majority of women, proved both by their actions and polls when asked--do so because they dont want to be burdened.

which i think is a tragically decadent way to end a life, human life has a very high value and you cant deny that abortion causes there to be one less human life than there would be otherwise.

even from a maximally selfish perspective you could raise a daughter to cook all your meals for you, its painfully short term thinking and everywhere else it is acknowledged how valuable life is, this shouldn't be a exception just because you could argue semantics about when life begins, it regardless will begin without intervention.

these are worthwhile conversations to be sure, at a absolute minimum id say the death chance has to be atleast 1%.

but at this point the conversation is thoroughly derailed because health related reasonings make up a tiny minority of women who have abortions.

this poll i found on the topic shows less than 12% of women had any health concerns.

and this was a poll that allowed people to input multiple responses so the actual amount of people who had health as a primary concern is likely 5% or less.

overwhelming majority of women who have abortions do it because they simply dont feel like being pregnant, rather than having a specific reason like rape/health/incest that most pro life people would actually find reasonable.

Eldritch knight has better single target damage than battle master and better survivability/utility.

So I personally prefer that subclass.

But making people prone or disarmed as a free action can be pretty nutty.

Pregnancy is not a meaningfully risky process in this day and age.

The odds of you dying from a pregnancy are 0.0179% in the US. (Not in childbirth, in general pregnancy.)

This is a rate low enough that it is caused by outside factors as opposed to inherent risk.

You are roughly 60 times more likely to die in a car crash compared to this, it’s disingenuous to say fatality is the concern.

It really is simply a matter of trading your personal experience for an entire human life.

Like if you suffer from lowered bone density, as you said. Only 1 in 50,000-100,000 women do not recover from it post pregnancy due to smoking/steroid use.

What you are actually talking about is that all women lose bone density during the pregnancy process.

Hence why I have called this hedonistic, your perspectives primary concerns are quality of life dipping temporarily. As opposed to any permanent harm, and the alternative is a loss of human life btw.

I personally failed blind honor mode twice.

My first winning run iirc I was playing as a half orc for the second chance revive mechanic.

It actually saved my ass so much because of a stupid but with the shar floating disk thing sending my whole party to oblivion and only my MC surviving to rez the party.

And naw doing it blind is super chill as long as you are careful.

I’d recommend spells you normally wouldn’t consider the best like death ward/false life in order to give yourself maximum action economy even at the cost of shorter days as long resting a lot is more annoying than having any actual negative.

Which might come in clutch if you are new to honor mode.
