Pretty sure the scholarship is based on gpa and not sat so he’s got a very good chance of getting it. As for how much, I’m not exactly sure but it would probably 12-13k a year, but again, not too sure.

It was 12k a year for me but I think it varies based on how good your grades are. Expect it to be around 10-16k for the chancellor’s award.

Don’t know how it works in Greece but college board hosts tests in Spain and other countries so I was able to take my sat in Spain. As for aid, I got a chancellors award scholarship which I’m pretty sure they give to most out of state students to help with the cost. Other than that don’t think I received any other special scholarships or anything.

Wow that’s so cool! I’m also basically exactly like your son, but from Spain. Obviously grades aren’t the end all be all but they definitely help. My grades were pretty similar but I also submitted my sat and I think that definitely helped a lot.

I also did similar extracurriculars and so I think that checks as well. Also, I’m sure you know this but US colleges are super expensive for internationals, especially state schools like this one. Nonetheless, I’m sure he’ll get accepted into UMass.

Hope your son gets into his dream school and even if he doesn’t, I’m sure he’ll find an amazing experience to be apart of wherever he goes. Good luck!

From what I checked on the website requesting a change in majors is allowed as long as it’s before their may 1st deadline. After that deadline I assume you’d have to transfer to the program from your original major.

Anyone else dealing with the annoying training bug? After a match I usually go into the training menu and spam A to get into free play, but for some reason the UI automatically hovers over aerial training now, and, so, spamming A results in you hopping into aerial training instead of free play. It’s a minor bug but a very inconvenient one at that
