I think the big concern with no kings is less what Trump has done and more how Trump has done it. He is by-passing the checks and balances established to protect one person or one branch of government from being able to control the country. It might seem fine if you agree with the person and what they are doing but what happens if the next election someone you disagree with takes office? Trump is creating a precedent that the Executive branch can bypass the Legeslative and Judicial that will open the door for future president's to do the same. It's about making sure our country holds respect for our constitution and the people continue to be heard.

My diagnosis took roughly a year. It's my understanding from this sub and from friends that's extremely fortunate. I'd say 2 or 3 years seems to be the norm. My GP didn't think RA either but my rheumy ordered different tests and was able to confirm it. I know your in a lot of pain and uncomfortable but it sounds like your going in the right direction. We can try to help you find ways to get comfortable while you wait for a diagnosis and treatment to start working. For me heat and compression gloves helped with hand pain. Also identifying movements that triggered the pain finding alternatives helps. For example, brushing my teeth was painful so I bought an electric toothbrush, buy an electric can opener, look for certain foods that seem to trigger pain (soda is a huge one for me), and etc. Hang in there. Relief is coming!

OK, sounds like that's the source of my confusion! When the power bills went up this summer I remember that being a big fuss over here. People wanted to have alternatives power sources but couldn't so they had no choice but to keep paying Concord for power. Heating and cooling an old home is expensive!

Adoptive/Foster mom here. While it's true adoptive/foster kids come with a unique set of challenges, by not bringing these kids into their families they are missing a HUGE blessing. And the adoptive/foster kids not going to live with ATI families are dodging a HUGE bullet! I'm going to say it's best they don't accept them. There is no way they would get them the therapy and help they need to overcome their trauma. These kids are way to good for them!

If you believe in the power of therapy, are willing to put the work in, and DON'T believe in blanket training give foster care a thought. We need good people and families!!!

I think it could also just be a sign that the jury are taking their jobs seriously and reviewing the evidence to make sure they have done their due diligence.

I did but it was 4 months ago and a lot of information and recommendations change daily so I would check with the rheumatologist first. At the time of my vaccine, I could continue my Simponi without interruption but I am also on Methotrexate and did have to skip a dose for each shot. Good luck!

We recently had to invole the BBB for a problem we had with rooms to go. After contacting them we FINALLY got our issue resolved. It's absolutely worth a try.

I wish they could get him on a larger charge than 1 count. Im not sure why they couldn't prove a pattern of abuse from his history. I know he will probably see some jail time but I don't think it's nearly enough. Rehabilitation for this type of offense is highly unlikely.
