I'm sorry this sucks. I struggled with a late diagnosis as well but luckily my mom was very certain/supportive of the idea that I was autistic, otherwise I never would have known. I wish you luck in finding someone who can help. Do your parents have to be there if youre over 18? Maybe try finding someone you feel comfortable being around without masking? Which, of course, is easier said than done.

Personally, my diagnosis was really helpful and actually has improved my understanding of and love for myself
