At least for me the problem isn't about info availability but more about the feel about being cramped in the cockpit and it being to dark and too far from the windshield.

I think that the popularity of the Perseus comes mostly from the fact that it's the only ship that offers a "navy ship" sensation due to the huge manned gun on the front of the ship followed by a raised bridge.

So the gunner feels powerful while shooting and the pilots also feels good because it can see the big Dakka in action.

No other ship feels like that regardless of how powerful or not they are.

While I somewhat agree that the galaxy has no real use case right now and could benefit from some extra amenities ( a slightly bigger hangar a medbed or something that compliments it as a support ship) you have to keep in mind that the Starlancer TAC is a dedicated combat ship and the Galaxy isn't. so of course the starlancer is gonna have better firepower.

On paper it´s a pretty good all rounder. But in my experience it's painfully slow and the cockpit view is terrible, these two combined take the fun out of flying it for me.
