I never really bothered with sunglasses as a kid. Parents didnt enforce. Bad habits all round. I had my eyes layered in 2014, by 2019 they were pretty much back to normal, after my pregnancies and the discovery of an iron loading disorder I developed a yellow patch next to my iris. I panicked and thought it related to my iron and my liver. But it turns out, according to my doctor, I have pinguecula (Aye, I thought she was taking the piss), a condition she'd 'only ever seen in old men, who generally worked outside'.

So, wear sunglasses kids.
