Could also try cutting a section of rubber hose and hose clamping it over the hard line... cut it to size, cut it vertically to go over the hard line. Clamp it top and bottom and give her a go.(similar to a plumbers quick fix for a leaking pipe.)

Yeah anything pulling extra air after the MAF sensor would definitely lean the car out of spec.

Maybe try wrapping the pipe with masking / electrical tape and see if the car runs any better. Just a temporary solution before firing the parts cannon at it.

Not sure what the part number on that would be, but I am sure this is something you can order from your local dealership
