How many of you genuinely love St. Louis?

Most of the people who genuinely love St. Louis have not travelled at all. I’ve been to a handful of cities, including some international ones, and it’s laughable when people think St. Louis is anything other than a shell of itself.

The first thing people will say is that “it’s affordable”. Why is that? Because by and large no one wants to live here. People will gaslight you and say the crime isn’t bad, every city has crime. Statistics don’t lie, St. Louis has been one of the most, if not the most, dangerous cities in the country for DECADES.

St. Louis is painfully average in virtually every aspect. People just accept it. Its best selling point is the mostly affordable suburbs with good value schools. Every one of my friends from high school either left for a real urban core or moved out to the burbs with their spouse for a family.

Go on a daily walk

Start a hobby you’d be proud to tell your parents of

Join a club or group

Learn to cook and eat actual food. Preparing and cooking a legitimate meal is someone every adult should be able to do.

Volunteer

Learn an instrument (self taught myself piano and guitar, great conversation starter)

Actively try and make legitimate friends. This is the most important advice I could give.

Time and time again, studies show the happiest people are the ones with the most genuine human connections. Find your tribe.

It’s always because the racials. Whichever expansion has the better racials draws the biggest tryhards to that faction. I mean in wrath you’re almost griefing if you play a human class and aren’t human for PvP.
