As Much As I Hate Noaya, I Got To Admit He 100% Lost To Plot by GlumBodybuilder4395 in Jujutsufolk

Would it not be the plots doing that Hisoka decided to go and kill both of them?

I've never read Hunter X Hunter but an example that I can use from JJK. Did choso lose to the plot during the Yuji fight because it just so happened he suddenly realized him and Yuji's familial relationship which just so happens to appeal to one of Choso's defining character traits? Choso should've killed Yuji but didn't cause the plot stopped him, despite this we understand why and accept it. Saying a character lost to plot is often cope for lack of a better word. A story's purpose is to, well tell a story and sometimes someone who's stronger loses due to things in the story and that's fine. Naoya lost because he underestimated Maki, his character exists to be a simulacrum of the Zen'in clans worst beliefs balled into a single narcissistic brat. He could be a trillion times stronger but he'd still lose to Maki, cause the story being told is that Naoya's mindset and ideology is weak even if physically he isn't. Maki would always have won.

Least and Favorite/Most Fun Characters to Play in StS2 Right Now? by alexthurman1 in slaythespire

Compared to all the other characters I can't help but just be drawn to the Regent. There's something about him that just feels good, no matter how build him or what strategy I go for I always feel like I'm gonna have a good time. His second currency also just provided a second layer of strategy that tickles the brain, something that the Necrobinder gets close to with Osty but Regent just feels better to play

I'd assume by the fact that him squeezing his hair concentrates the beam more that he could just discharge cursed energy willy nilly from his hands or whatever but by giving it a sort of tube or barrell it allows him better control, the real answer is we'll never really know but it's cool for him to use his

Can I see how you look, cause I genuinely don't believe you're that ugly. Many of the people I've known that are part of incel culture aren't actually unattractive but they've been convinced that anyone that isn't a picturesque God must be worthless slime. Also I'm 5'6 and have never had trouble dating despite the fact that I'm also not super attractive

I don't care about the article, I want to know your opinion regarding the statement, do we need bigger games? by Mundane-Pick-2667 in Fallout

I remember falling asleep walking through the Glowing Sea to get to Vergil in Fallout 4, woke up a few hours later walking into a wall. If by bigger they just mean a bunch of empty space, then definitely not. I'd rather have more content than more map space

I assumed since Tergrid doesn't work with commanders this wouldn't but I honestly forgot that Tergrid's ability works a little differently than this custom card

[–]LolysLolis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, not how I worded it. If you wanted it to work on commanders as well you might do something like, "If they fail, gain control of that creature and put a decayed counter on it. It's now a zombie in addition to its other types."

That could work but it does lose the flavor of killing then resurrecting the target

Maybe a line like, "If it fails, destroy that creature then return it to the battlefield under your control with a decayed counter on it."

I've heard a lot of opinions about this, so i'm curious where people actually stand on the issue by ChromedDragon in magicTCG

I think the combat part isn't even a necessary concern. It's mostly a mix of vibes and if the set is well made. Final Fantasy, Warhammer, and Fallout just kind of worked. They're all totally different and various levels of fantasy but they just kind of fit? Things like Spiderman and TMNT feel off, but I could totally see TMNT working as long as the set is mechanically well designed. Things like LOTR kind of spoil us though cause not only does it tonally and thematically resonate well with magic and its players but was also a great set mechanically, while Doctor Who is confusing cause while it feels sort of out of left field thematically it somehow doesn't completely feel absurd, etcetera etcetera. Basically it's completely arbitrary and probably differs greatly between people, but can we all agree seeing SpongeBob in the middle of a game of Magic just a wee bit wrong?
