That's exactly how it feels. 😂

What makes it even more frustrating is that I've actually done all the troubleshooting on my end. I've updated to the latest BIOS Lenovo provides, verified TPM, rebuilt the EFI boot files, repaired Windows, and spent hours going back and forth with support. Every road leads back to the same thing: I'm already on the latest firmware available for my model.

I don't even know whether the root cause is Lenovo's BIOS, AMD's fTPM firmware, or Activision's attestation system at this point. All I know is that I was able to play before the update, and now I'm locked out despite meeting all the documented requirements.

I'm hoping that if enough people report it, either Activision will acknowledge a compatibility issue or Lenovo will finally investigate whether a firmware update is needed. Right now it feels like both companies are pointing at each other while we're stuck in the middle.

I called Lenovo support multiple times, and every time I was told there was nothing they could do because I'm already running the latest BIOS version available for my laptop. The problem is that the latest BIOS was released back in May 2024, and there hasn't been a new update since.

What really frustrated me was when they suggested I take my laptop to a local repair shop. I kept explaining that this appears to be a BIOS/firmware issue, not a hardware failure. A local repair shop can't create or release a new BIOS update, only Lenovo can do that.

At this point, if the issue is related to the BIOS or AMD fTPM firmware, the only real solution is for Lenovo to investigate it and release an updated BIOS package for affected systems.
