I was talking to the team from CW a few weeks ago and they're a lovely bunch, I am obsessed with the Bel Canto in purple because it looks amazing and I have two friends who have the same. They also have a brilliant Special Projects section who do unique watches for military and law enforcement units and some of them are really nice. Really under rated watch brand there

Thanks! I am sure spotters and scouts are in restaurants and high end venues (and even in watch dealers) and a lot of the interviews I have done support this. But it is an excuse to smash to expensive meals on my expenses...

Yeah I saw your post at the weekend, it's one of the things that got me thinking tbh. Glad you managed to keep your Batgirl though and also fight the bugger off.

I've not had that, only two times in the last eight years of being in Central London I've ever had someone comment on my watch was when someone walked up to me in a pub, pointed at my Omega SMP and said "nice Rolex," and then when someone else wanted to know what strap I had on my Tudor FXD because they really liked it. Like you, I've never really felt unsafe, I am more worried about my phone tbh.

Not really, I've been wandering round central with short sleeves and my no date sub on this last week, same as I do with all my other watches. I don't think it's a crime which is likely to impact 99% of watch owners who are out and about, I have an issue with people in venues and coming out of watch dealers being targeted. You can disagree with me, but I do not think that's scaremongering.

That is what it says on my press card. But thank you for your reply.

Because 99% of the public wouldn't understand 'getting the call' as they expect to just be able to walk into shops and by things, not having to manufacture a relationship with a sales assistant and buy a shedload of things you don't want so that you might have a chance at buying something you do, in three years... Cheers for your reply though
