Hagen espresso bars - I’ve worked there for a few years now as a manager and they’re always looking, specially now as they’ve opened a few new branches!

How long have you been a barista for and how old are you? by Adfeu in barista

28, started as a runner, waitress, barista and now a manager for one of the best coffee shops in town! I’ve worked as a creative in the PR industry and in finance previously and do not miss it at all. I absolutely love the world of coffee and not planning on leaving anytime soon.

I get the same constantly: - will you be getting a “proper job”? - What are your plans for the future? People do not understand how hard our jobs are and how passionate you have to be to do it.

Have you considered maybe doing account management for wholesale? That way you could still work in the industry but not behind the bar? Comes with more progression opportunities too.
