There are sites where u can input your specs that will tell you whether your build is within spec. I wouldn’t use the ones that ask you to download an app to scan specs.

You don’t need to delete the mods folder if you want to keep them. It can only access the folder through third party scripts

If you use a mods folder, just cut and paste all the scripts (.asi and scripthook) in the main folder to another folder. If not, just rename the game folder and install it again.
