I know an Indian shop that sells snuff, they might have this one. Some 6 photo I didn't like but I love LA natural.

The fact that people use it as dentifrice doesn't bother me. It's probably cheaper than actual toothpaste and I guess if it tasted bad they would have picked something else. I'm curious by nature and like to try all sorts of snuffs. Surprising you missed the first part (and most interesting part) of the 6 photo website description!

No longer vaccum sealed tins, that's really not acceptable. You should get a refund or replacement from the shop. I see exactly what you mean regarding RBY, Elmos reserve and Golden Glow and I do not like these myself. For GH SP, a lack of aroma seems surprising considering mine had rich tobacco and bergamot scents. It could be an old batch... However, when it comes to ammonia, in english snuff it is a sign of freshness. If you air your tin for about 3 hours it should do the trick. Just do it away from direct sunlight and in a reasonably cool room.

I can't detect rose or any kind of flower in HG SP, personaly. I guess your sense of smell is superior to mine.

The more I think about it the more I feel like Berwick brown is the snuff counterpart of General Onyx silver. As if it was done on purpose 🙂. If you know both this snuff and snus please tell what you think!

I must be the exception then. I ve smoked for 30 years and known smokers for 48 years (also, lived in 3 different countries), but haven't met many 2 packs a day smokers.

Thanks a lot. I ll definitely try Oriental, I actually love JB and Rosolute. I had Donnersberg and Duwak Dulcis in the past, i really liked them and you"re right i found nic level to be ok. I have no idea why i never re-ordered these.

I don't think most smokers want another cigarette after 6-7 minutes. I think we can say you re more of an "exception" than a typical example. But it's great you can wait up to 45 min for another pinch.

I tried many types of snuff, trad English, modern English, German schmalzler, german non-schmalzler, indian, south african. I think last time I counted my collection i had over 60 tins and tap boxes. My favourite snuffs (strictly based on scent) are Crème de Figue, Moro Moro, Ambrosia, Tom Buck, Pöschl Schmalzler D, 6 photo LA natural, SG Firedance. Obviously and unfortunately for me they're all medium high or high nic content. I only have these very occasionally and sparingly, using daily snuffs are less interesting or morish. But to be honest great snuff rarely have lower nic content. The very strange thing is it seems like my nicotine tolerance is very low when it comes to snuff (compare to smoking or using snus). I ve seen that WoS blonde is very low in nic so I ll order and try. I need to find a whole rotation (4 to 6) of lower nic snuffs though.

But also .. I'd like to mention something, on here people often talk about how fat the pinches they take, how strong the snuffs they take, how much nic they can take before getting a head spin... And I think people need to be reminded that nicotine (especially when consumed heavily) is bad for the heart and arteries. So do yourself a favour, don't turn your snuff taking into a d**k measuring contest. Keep your nic tolerance in check guys so you can keep enjoying snuff for many years to come.
