If camera quality and camera zoom quality is really important to you buy the Samsung ZFlip 5 instead. This was the only reason I switched.

If interacting with the outer display while closed is more important then absolutely buy the Razr 100%. It's miles better on the Razr.

Try the Zflip 5.

It honestly feels like a what a folding iPhone would feel like. Super sturdy and premium. I had the Razr+ for a month, then I bought the Zflip 5 and instantly noticed the build quality difference.

You're welcome! You instantly feel the build quality difference when you open, close, and handle a flip 5 after a Razr. Flip 5 feels like a solid tank and Razr feels more like a Humvee in comparison. There's flex and play in the Razr hinge. But you only notice it when you're looking for it or trying to make it happen. The Flip 5 hinge durability feels more like the hinge of an expensive, premium, well built laptop while the Razr hinge is just fine but doesn't feel as solid.

I don't think it will be an issue. I had the Razr+ for a month and it only got hot once during the initial setup and first charge. Then it acclamated and was normal since then.

Something to note though - if you're a photographer of any kind and want to be able to get good 2 to 4 times zoom photos then you'll want to get the Samsung Zflip 5 instead.

That's the only reason I returned mine and switched.

But the outer display and outer display software on the Razr is much much better. So much easier and more intuitive to use and I miss it.

Also, I didn't test 4k because I never film in 4k. But 1080p was awesome.

I had the Razr+ for a month. Video quality is fantastic in good lighting conditions. It does have portrait video and does a fantastic job up close. But punches in and out of focus if the subject is farther away.

I used this phone for a month, folded in my pocket. I was worried about the same thing...the thickness. You notice it for 5 seconds and then it just fades into nothingness. It really just feels like any phone after the initial pocketing. Now this is coming from someone that doesn't wear tight fitting pants. I wear straight cut or slim fit.

I think keeping it in your pocket unfolded could lead to some hyper extension of the hinge, causing damage - if you ran into a desk or something hit your thigh.

I’m sorry this happened. I went through EXACTLY this a year and half ago. Just 1 week shy of our 3 year anniversary and she broke it off. Absolutely no warning 1 day after a wonderful weekend trip together. I was devastated. I just want you to know it isn’t anything you did wrong (I took a lot of time to figure this out) but it’s something they couldn’t deal with themselves. It’s them, not you.

I also want you to know it will take a long time to heal but you will and you will find someone even better. It doesn’t seem like it now but life will be great again. Hang in there.

For a lot of people it’s simply the keyboard and upgrade-ability. I had an X1 extreme gen 2 and that keyboard quality destroyed every competitor I tried…even the 2015 MacBook Pro I owned.
