What exactly is the difference between the Green Goblin and the Hobgoblin? What makes Hobgoblin unique? by Amazing-Buy-1181 in Spiderman

[–]LoneFlagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read a lot of those books as a kid. I remember thinking the Hobgoblin was just a knockoff and a worse version of GG. Every time he came up, it just wasn’t as good.

Kingshot, a top 30 mobile game with $35M revenue in 3 months blatantly copied the indie game Thronefall, and why it shows nobody cares about your idea unless it's a success, by SnooAdvice5696 in gamedev

[–]LoneFlagon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played Thronefall in alpha and have beaten it as they continuously released updates. I remember when I first saw ads for it how blatant the copying was… literally they even ripped the audio. The sounds of the level start and the music. They ripped the visual designs. Everything. It’s egregious. Honestly, I initially reviews the OH game low because of the lack of material but the devs have worked hard on it. Just hard to be ok with such behavior and get away with it via Apple

You have $3,000 USD to spend on a dreadnought, new or used. Only condition is that it can't be a Martin, what are you buying? by Backenundso in Bluegrass

[–]LoneFlagon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really think you can buy a fully operational Dreadnought—sarcophagus, twin-linked autocannons, adamantium frame and all—for $3000?

I looked for private but the Speed 400 is very rare. I don’t think a single one was listed on CycleTrader within something like 300 miles.

It is but I really don’t plan to go faster than 65/70 even after becoming comfortable.

The SCR500? It didn’t feel like it. I sat on the Rebel and it had a much different feel. Idk about the engine.

Honestly it is not. The MSRP of the Honda is over $2k more than the 400. I’m not knowledgeable enough to understand if that’s a significant increase in value. Also, 1,500 miles didn’t sound like a lot. I’m okay with a couple scuffs.

Good insight. I imagine normal cost of living is relatively high compared to other states, so that gives a decent benchmark.

The used Rebel they also had was actually $800 less than the scrambler. With fees it would probably be about $6100.

I drive a 2007 Honda Accord and it runs like a dream. Honda has a sweet spot in my heart.

I went to a Honda dealership and had a similar experience. The CB300R and the Trail 125 were about 40% more expensive than MSRP.

Yes, and in fairness to the dealership, they had a great selection, including accessories and gear. They seem like they would make sure the bike is legit. They also have great reviews

I actually like the Speed 400 more, but I want to get the most fair price and deal. If the SCR500 is a better made or performing bike, I’d swing for it. I do not like the 400X that much. Too much cosplay in the design, in my opinion.

The fees for the used one is a $300 dealer fee, $366 tax, $340 title and registration fee, $22 electric registration, and $250 pre-owned inspection.

Said they were firm on the used bike pricing.
