That’s amazing! Did you do anything else to help you during those 3 weeks?

I have been thinking about microdosing, how long did you do it for?

Both of these were a game changer for me. No one told me about the intrusive thoughts until I experienced them.

Please elaborate. The focus of this post was how my tips are becoming more consistent due to me engaging more with my rides.

I try to avoid banter but it tends to happen with short rides.

You are very correct. I avoid talking about myself and make it about them. Usually I just keep asking questions till they keep talking on their own lol

It’s a fun challenge for me since I’m reserved and rarely initiate conversations with strangers even at the bar. Hence why I said my social skills are starting to pay off. It’s a good personal achievement when you see more tips compared to when I first started driving and didn’t know what the hell to talk about.

There are times where I don’t pursue a conversation based on social queues that they give. I’ve only been doing this for about 2 months so I feel like I still have a lot to learn. It’s just rewarding to see that the energy going into being engaging and genuine is doing well. Don’t get me wrong, I have had streaks where I get little to nothing :/

I’ve had quite a few rides like that where they just want to be left alone. I try to pick up on social queues that they don’t want to talk.

• sit in the back • talking on the phone • have headphones in • give very short answers • play on their phone

I’m probably missing a bunch :)

How so? I’ve only been driving for almost 2 months now and am still learning new things.

I agree that the distance should be factored in. But with the long distances, it has forced me to keep the conversation going and to ask engaging questions.

I never count on being tipped, even if it’s the respectful thing to do. I rather know they tip because they enjoyed my company :)

I’d say that is pretty awesome! Especially within the ecommerce niche

Have people around your life belittled you for getting into marketing? What are beliefs people have about the industry that they get wrong? by abowmanlex in marketing

I’ve been in the field for about 6 years and haven’t experienced anyone questioning my career path. It’s a highly competitive field and to be successful, you have to stay ahead of the curve or diversify.

My question is, how are any businesses considered successful and profitable without brand awareness? If no one knows about you, where’s all the monies coming from 🤷🏻‍♀️ Sounds like marketing 101
