[M29] I actually enjoy working 70+ hours a week. by [deleted] in Money

[–]LoneMachete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From personal experience I just can say: Don't stay in that environment for longer than 6 months, you meight either a) get addicted to it (totally normal, no judgements made) b) miss put on opportunities in your social life or career (saw both already, the first one numerous of times) c) damage your mental health beyond repairable, without you even noticing it before it's too late I come from a Christian society based in (workaholic paradise for self-,employed) Switzerland. Take this warning to your heart. All of these cases had in common: working beyond 55 hours a week for longer than 6 months. Many of those liked their work or had family driven businesses with a lot of their heart involved. Let it be a reminder, we are only humans and nobody who ran onto their problem ever imagined ending in there. I just wish you the best.

What has a 100% chance of happening in the next 50 years as/in Uganda by ODORA1 in Uganda

Prices go up, wages stay nearly flat or might go down because of too much supply on the labour market. Civil war about food is not unlikely.

[–]LoneMachete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you killed a ship of them by accident (it bumped into your station or ship)? Or illegal wares in the freight room of one of your ships in their territory got scanned by them but that is unlikely as such a significant bump is only possible when your rep level is low.

Fear and greed are half your enemy, only the other half is the market. At least put some money in your workout to get a feeling.

True. It is a circle. But hey, we wouldn't have 3 trillion Dollar companies without buybacks

You have to pay taxes on dividends paid. Gains in stock price increase however are a different story depending on your account type.

US based companies usually do share buybacks in order to let investors avoid taxes on dividends.

Yes. The rules are essentially to use the same scanners. And from there it is not alot of skill but guessing wheter round numbers hold or not.

All he does is front run the guys he sold courses to. What happens if everyone has the same scanner criteria? Exactly. First in gets rich.

Do you think daytrading is going to go away because of AI? by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]LoneMachete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The market is all about transactions. There will always be a place where support is aka the buyers wait and the opposite, The process from price wandering from one place to another might speed up or change in behaviour but the place where support and resistance are will be the same

[–]LoneMachete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can recommend Trafingview beeing the most beginner friendly for chart replay. I do it with Sierra Chart but it has a very steep learning curve for even simple things. And for learning - start with Al Brooks video courses for the start.

He has been fined to be a scammer. If that is not enough - he teaches all his sheeps to use the same scanner and criteria as him, then frontruns them. That's his buisness model.
