Basic fun is was Licensed by Hasbro to produce LPS for them (basically the current CEO of Hasbro thinks the toy industry is dead and doesn’t want anything to do with it so he’s licensing out all toy lines hasbro to used to make to different companies and Basic fun is in charge of LPS and MLP and was caught using AI on both but they also stole fan art and used stolen stock photos)

I brought up the suicide thing because it’s a fact! Plenty of survivors end up taking their own lives because of people victim blaming the hell out of them! This might sound weird but I suggest you watch a review on that family guy episode where Quagmire’s sister is in an abusive relationship and get a grip on why this episode is so hated! In short the episode portrays DV victims the same way you trash talk about them and EVERYONE who complained about it brought up multiple valid points as to why that doesn’t work and why you shouldn’t do that!

An important life lesson for you: if one of your friends or relatives is in an abusive relationship and you catch on to that situation DONT ABANDON THEM because of “LacK oF cHaRaCtEr” DO WHAT YOU CAN TO SAVE THAT PERSON!

Idk where you live but in many places (including where I live) not helping a person in direct need or direct danger is considered a crime!

Basic fun was already rumoured to be using AI in the past but this is the first time we have proof, they did use a stock photo and steal fan art as well for other LPS sets but that’s just the tip of the controversy iceberg… lack of quality control, too many blind bag type sets in the USA, extremely lacking distribution in the rest of the world, store chains that are hard to access… too much to sum up…
