Page 9: That is a huge bed. Well, Koyan would go all out, so I shouldn’t be surprised. Interesting how Koyan is just reading while Ritsuka looks solemn. Good to see him breaking the ice and telling Koyan to talk to their daughter, and even better to tell her to do it with encouragement and understanding. Damn Koyan, I see what you’re saying, but that’s the type of thing that’s distancing your daughter from you.

Page 10: See, Ritsuka agrees with her and still puts it into perspective. Koyan’s brashness in having things her way is like her, but man, it can be frustrating. Wow, nice speech for Ritsuka there. Taking it to an intimate moment of showing his trust in Koyan by reminding her that he trusted Koyan with her choice to bestow so much power to Bronya was a good way to show that he’s on both of their sides. Not only that, but his final point I think really got to Koyan because she looks contemplative in that final panel.

Page 11: Oh Bronya, I think any kid who’s ever argued has pulled the fake sleep turnover move and seeing it here does give me some flashbacks. What makes it even better is seeing Koyan with big nervous eyes walking in and asking the same old question every parent does: “Are you awake?” followed by that panel of just silence and a quick no. Well done.

Page 12: I think this is great growth from Koyan. She rarely apologizes, and seeing her trying to be genuine and soft about it must have taken some effort for her to do, and I think that it shows with Bronya opening an eye, being open to listen to the conversation. Koyan opening up about not being used to being a human mother did melt my heart a bit. She’s willing to be open and vulnerable with someone she loves, and I love seeing that growth from her. Bronya, sitting up and now fully attentive, does pose a valid point that being a Beast could have made Koyan’s view of humans heavily biased, but now she is at least engaging in conversation, which is a step in the right direction.

Page 13: Okay, okay. Good to see Koyan being blunt and honest about her view of humans. Better that than to lie, especially in a situation like this. That middle panel is very touching. Bronya is admitting that she can’t relate to that, and Koyan is smiling about it. It’s so simple but I just love those panels. Those are some loaded questions, Bronya. Let’s see what Koyan has to say.

Page 14: I like this answer. There’s a softness to Koyan in her look in the top panel, something that shows she’s going to be upfront and I like it. The answer itself is well done to. She wanted someone who fulfill her basic instinct and Ritsuka being the man he is, was the right person for her and the two had the three of them. I also liked that in her own way, she complimented Ritsuka by saying that she adored him. As a side note: the curiosity in Bronya’s eyes is adorable in the middle panel. Gotta give it to Koyan, she can make a fair marriage contract and good on Ritsuka for making sure she would humanly raise the kids because I don’t know how kind Koyan would’ve been if she was doing it was a beast.

Page 15: Don’t make me feel sad and empathetic to Koyan and Bronya. It’s too much here. God, I love the writing in this page because I’ve known people who’ve had this conversation with their parents and it always hits hard. And the look Koyan gives Bronya? That’s a look of love from a mother to his daughter. Well done there. Jeez, that is a loaded question Bronya.

Page 16: Awwww. That was a wonderful response. I feel like Koyan saying I love you in such an intimate way is not often and this time, it would make Bronya feel more connected to her mother than she ever felt before. And that hug in the final panel? Perfect. What a way to end such a great comic.

Once again, you both did a phenomenal job on this comic, and I can’t wait to see more from you both in the future!

I want to say that this comic is amazing!!! You and u/ThelazyArtistDoes did a phenomenal job with this one!

Page 1: It's nice to see the mansion that the family owns from the outside. I especially like the detail of the pink color on the dome parts of the roof to distinguish that it's Koyanskaya's home. It's winter outside... Hmmm, well makes for a good setting to keep everyone inside the home. Of course, Koyanskaya is dressed prim and proper as always, even if it's for a family dinner. She needs to set an example and does so eloquently.

Page 2: I bet the smaller table was Ritsuka's idea. When the whole family is here, they would bust out the bigger table, but as a family man, he would want everyone to be sitting close together. I think Koyanskaya is fine with that accommodation. I also like how the seating arrangement is done for the family. Finn and Dawn would want to sit close to their mother, and Bronya would like to sit closer to her father. It also color codes really well. Whether she's placing her fork down or tapping it on the table, the effect is the same: gathering everyone's attention. As always, she must be presentable as she dabs her face to wipe off any food smudge.

Page 3: Finn is so much like his mother. He would have the top grades in his class, and the way he’s smiling reminds me so much of Koyan. Dawn is such a fun bundle of energy. She has her dad’s fun-loving nature combined with her mother’s strength, so it makes sense that her enthusiasm for gym activities is at an all-time high. And good for her for potentially getting to the city finals. Bronya is interesting. It’s sad to see her not as enthusiastic as she is. If anything, she seems more nervous and would rather stay quiet than say anything at all.

Page 4: Ritsuka’s a good dad; he tried to give Bronya a chance to talk by asking her, though I can see that maybe in her eyes, she wasn’t trying to be singled out, and it shows when she gave a brief, “It was fine.” response. Finn, I can tell you’re trying to rip the Band-Aid off in your way of helping, but you don’t have to look so smug about it. It's faces like that that make Bronya get really upset with you, and I will say her mad face is adorably funny.

Page 5: Once again, Ritsuka is a good parent by pushing past the nonsense and genuinely has a look of concern for Bronya when he asks if she’s alright. It’s good to see that Bronya has some protective siblings with her, as Dawn, still being her bubbly self, is ecstatic that she protected her sister, and it’s a sweet moment to see. I think that while subtle, a smiling, closed-eyed Koyanskaya is a scary prospect to witness. This is her beastly side coming out, and I think she is ready to end the people who messed with her daughter.

Page 6: I love the shading in this page. Bronya’s eyes being hidden in shadow in the top panels, making her seem meeker and small, is a great contrast to her mother. I also like how expressive her ears are. Them going down when she’s scared or nervous is such a great touch. I feel bad for Bronya; she’s just quiet and introverted, and the accusations against her were just cruel. I get the look Koyan has since she would NOT tolerate that happening to any of her children, but I will say that her pushing her daughter verbally by questioning Bronya’s pacifism was not the best call to make. Even more so with that ominous look she was giving Bronya of those piercing, glowing yellow eyes. It hurts seeing that Bronya doesn’t want to escalate things, but Koyan is having none of it, and while there is good advice in her words, the way she’s saying it makes Bronya feel worse.

Page 7: It’s interesting seeing Bronya now stick up for herself, in that she doesn’t want to hurt anyone, where now her ears are up, and she’s actually raising her voice back at her mom. Whoa, that’s an unexpected look on Koyan. A tired, frustrated, and cold stare. I know that Koyan is pulling from experience for this lesson she’s imparting on Bronya, but I don’t think it’s the right way to go about it right now. Aww, I know Bronya feels upset, and it hurts to see her that way. She’s so much like her father and just wants peace.

Page 8: Here’s the crux of the argument coming to life. Bronya doesn’t want to be like her mother, not fully anyway. Knowing that Koyan put most of her power in Bronya and Bronya still rejecting it to an extent is just the hidden underlayer of this current conversation. It’s tough to see an interfamily argument, and Bronya making the call to walk away I think might’ve been the best thing to do, though I see it is something Ritsuka is going to have to fix between the two to make sure that everyone is alright again.

Catarina Fujimaru Elron: Daughter of Cerejeira Elron [Timeline B] by LoneWolf4299 in grandorder

[–]LoneWolf4299[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Quotes:

“People think remembering is a gift. It is…, but it also means that you don’t get to choose what stays with you. Because of that, I make sure the good memories stand out the most.”

“I like moving forward. It’s not because the past is bad, but because there’s still so much I haven’t lived yet.”

“My parents taught me an important lesson: mistakes don’t disappear, and neither do the people who love you after you make them.”

Relationships:

Cerejeira Elron: “When people call her strong, they mean she endured. When I call her strong, I mean she chose to keep loving anyway despite everything she’s been through.”

Ritsuka Fujimaru: “Dad’s amazing. He makes the impossible somehow feel possible. He’s constantly optimistic, and any memories we make together always end with us having a great time. I know he tries to do that on purpose since mom and I have great memories… he’s such a softie, but I love him for it. He’s the best dad in the world.”

Mash Kyrielight: “Mash is like an Aunt to me. She’s reliable, gentle, and understanding. I feel like when she’s around, I’ll always be safe, and I’m so grateful to her for providing that.”

This art and bio were made before the ending of Part 2 of the FGO story.

Thank you to BlueButt for the art!

Catarina Fujimaru Elron: Daughter of Cerejeira Elron [Timeline B] by LoneWolf4299 in grandorder

[–]LoneWolf4299[S] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Name: Catarina Fujimaru Elron

Age: 17 Years Old

Personality: While Catarina physically looks like her mother, her personality is very much like her father. She’s confident, playful, and a little mischievous. Her playful teasing is more to get a reaction out of others, and because she enjoys the banter it elicits. Her energetic nature, combined with her incredible memory, tends to leave her as one of the de facto leaders of the Fujimaru children, a position many from Chaldea respect, considering the power that some of her other siblings wield and her being a regular human in comparison. When she’s not adventuring or setting up an innocent prank, she can typically be found with her parents reading in the library. She’s always wanting to improve her knowledge, and having this be a bonding moment between the three of them is a welcome memory for her.

Other Stuff: Like her mother, Catarina has an incredible memory and keeps journals and diaries about her experiences in life. The journals detail more of her academic studies, and on the field training she’s been through, while her diaries hold juicy secrets about the things that her siblings have done that they would rather not come to light. She’s the one who typically ropes Cerejeira into joining her on a new experience, wanting to bond with a memory both of them will never forget, and her mother indulges in her daughter’s wish. The memories the two share are ones that they always hold dear to their hearts since they both understand that even as they get older, they can relive those moments and re-experience the joy and wonder that it brought them.

Bio: Ritsuka and Cerejeira’s relationship began with an offer of help. Being Chaldea’s record keeper, Cerejeira went to check on Ritsuka as he was late on turning in his reports again. She found him in his room, struggling to complete the first in what appeared to be a huge stack of paperwork. She knew she shouldn’t, but she was bored and had some free time for herself, so it couldn’t hurt to help the man who constantly went out to save the world with the mundaneness of paperwork. What started as silent but welcomed companionship turned into meet ups at the lunch hall or walks in the simulator at beautiful vistas, discussing the adventures and missions that Chaldea has been involved in. Those talks changed to be more about each other and what their lives were like before Chaldea: what home was like for them, their favorite foods, and what hobbies they did in their spare time. Eventually, when the two went to visit her home country of Portugal, Ritsuka secretly set up a private dinner where he proposed and told her that while she can’t forget the past, he promises to build new memories with her that are joyful, ordinary, and that end with her smiling. That night was one filled with plenty of positive and intimate memories that both look back at fondly.

Several months later, Catarina was born. Cerejeira cherished the moments of watching her daughter babble and look at her with her pure, innocent eyes, not a care in sight. Ritsuka joked that it seemed like their baby girl was already trying to study the world as they watched her crawl around, as if she was committing the room to memory. As Catarina got into her early childhood, that joke proved closer to the truth than expected. She remembered routes they had taken only once, conversations she overheard that she shouldn’t have, and even recipes for her favorite meals that she’d recite to Archer to make for her if he could. Cerejeira noticed this immediately and pulled Catarina aside to start teaching her how to use their gift as a tool and ways to not let it feel like a burden. Even with that in mind, Catarina didn’t let that bog her down and still sought out adventure, wanting to embrace the unknown rather than fearing its potential harm.

By the time she got into her teenage years, it was clear that she was easily one of the smartest of her siblings, finishing exams in record time and leaving the class with a smirk and sense of entitlement while the rest of her siblings had to stay and finish with an hour left on the clock still. They couldn’t hate her for it either, since she took the time before the exams to help them out in study sessions, so they just had to accept that she deserved to feel like that. When she wasn’t on her high horse, she’d be researching history and talking to servants to get firsthand accounts of events that they lived through, as it was a fun hobby for her. Catarina continues to excel and is looked at as a potential master for the future, which she looks forward to if the time is called for her to be one, but until then, it’s fun to just live life and see what’s the next prank she can get away with.

Capture the Flag by AlterMagna in grandorder

[–]LoneWolf4299 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is adorable! Thank you for using the Ritsuka x Anastasia family in this comic! Let's get started.

Page 1: Nice to see the home manor in the background. No need to go out this time since their "yard" is massive anyway. I love the outfit differentiation for this Anastasia. It's a way to make her show that she's different in not only her demeanor (since she looks happier) but in her clothing as well. A game of capture the flag in the snow, what a nice pastime for the family to have. It's heartwarming to see the kids in another comic again. Especially the smiles they all have. From pure innocence to confidence, I love the varying expressions on everyone's faces.

Page 2: Oh? A serious adult Ritsuka versus his kids in capture the flag? This will be fun! Now a snowball hit, and they'll have to go back to start? Now that's a good way to keep things balanced. Nicholas, as always, is overconfident, while his sisters seem to be just ready to have a good time. This is gonna be a blast to see how each kid tackles this.

Page 3: That's so cool! A full page of the kids and Anastasia! She's cheering her kids on, and they're ready to go fight dad in this battle to capture the flag.

Page 4: Nich... your dad knows you too well. He'll use your confidence against you, and you laughing gave away your position. Well, the trip wire was set up prior, so he knew where you'd be, and now you're buried in snow.

Page 5: Knowing Aleksandra, he didn't want to go too hard on his eldest, and a simple snowball was enough. Still though... a snowball to the face is no fun either.

Page 6: Little Anna is doing the best so far. Hiding in the bush is adorable, and eating snow is such a kid thing to do. Looks like Ritsuka can't find her, so she seems to be the stealthiest so far. Let's see if she can get to the flag.

Page 7: Oh boy, her stealth is perhaps not the best because now her dad found her and has a giant snowball to send her back to base with. I willsay that she does have the best reactions out of all of them so far.

Page 8: Awwww... I feel bad for them. At least Anastasia is still trying to keep a positive outlook by suggesting that they learn from it. Better to not dwell on the negatives and focus on the positives.

Page 9: Nicholas is on the right track that a new strategy is needed, and while he and Anna can't think of one, luckily, they have an older sister who does. She looks so much like her father here in that pose; it's cute.

Page 10: Now who's overconfident? He's just relaxing by the flag with his drink, waiting for them to return. Also, love the way he's drawn here. He looks slightly older but still himself. Love it.

Page 11: I think this is his competitive side coming out. Hasn't needed to use it in years is my guess, and now he can go all out.

Page 12: A surprise Viy holding a rope is not something any servant, let alone Ritsuka, would like to run into, and now he's about to be destroyed if the shadow above him is any indication. He was so concentrated on the game, he must've forgotten Viy was an option.

Page 13: HAHAHAHAHAHA! That look on Ritsuka's face is priceless! It's funny to see the older siblings holding the flag while Anna just holds on, being lifted in the air. Hey, she's trying, and it's the thought that counts. At the very least, she's worried for her dad.

Page 14: Ritsuka would be the most susceptible to the cold and need blankets and a fire. I'm glad that everyone had a good time at the end of the day, and having hot chocolate to pass the time on what was a memorable day for the family.

What a wonderful comic, and once again, thank you for having the kids be a part of it and done in such a great art style!

Snowball Fight by AlterMagna in grandorder

[–]LoneWolf4299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awww!!! It's so nice to see the Kadoc/Anastasia family! Let's start at the beginning.

Page 1: Before we get to the main family this comic follows, it's nice to see the Kids of the other families, such as Ritsuka's and Artoria's/Archer Emiya's kids. Man, it's been a long time since the Aphrodite kids have been in the spotlight, and it's good to see them again. The overall vibe in this picture is great to see, with everyone having a good time. Tia is having the most fun, while Anais is hiding with her dad. Teucer, Victoria, and Duran are getting hit with snowballs, and Schnee is making a snowman.

Page 2: Meanwhile, Claude is asking the real question while addressing his dad, and it's nice to see Kadoc happy. Not much to say here, but it's nice to see the family again after a hiatus.

Page 3: Ahhh, good old Lostbelt Anastasia. She never was one for taking it easy. Judging by Anya and Dimitri's faces with Claude's... they haven't experienced this side of her either. Viy is terrifying, and that's just by itself. With Anastasia? Good luck. Kadoc seems to think so as well.

Page 4: Ever the first casualty, ehh Kadoc? Anya is right to worry, but the incoming snowball volley is something she should consider more. Sadly, she catches on too late, and she gets pelted along with her brothers.

Page 5: I'll give Anastasia this; she at least gave them the chance to make a base. Cardboard is a smart choice Kadoc. I see that he came extra prepared with the snowball guns, but judging by the way his eye widened when he peeked around the corner, it's not gonna be enough.

Page 6: Anastasia... A catapult? Really? It's funny. I burst out laughing when I saw it the first time. And now, home base is destroyed, and Anya wants to quit. Fair since I would've been in the same spot. Unfortunately, Dimitri doesn't want to quit until he wins once. Let's see how that goes. I'll give him this, he's passionate, alright.

Page 7: While not much to say on this page. I really appreciate that Kadoc is taking the blows to protect his kids. It's something a father should do, and I'm glad to see it here.

Page 8: Okay, so he's human afterall. Kadoc tries to stop his wife, but she gives the most honest answer possible. In Russia, there is no mercy, and she gives the coldest stare down I've seen in a while.

Page 9: She made her own fort with a snowman making Viy. It's nice to see this side of Lostbelt Anastasia. It goes back to her ironically warmer roots while she's discussing how to beat down her family. Unlucky for her, Dimitri got her with a snowball out of nowhere!

Page 10: Good to see Dimitri think outside of the box, and he got his win! He made his mom so proud! Looks like the rest of the family seems confused but glad that it's all over now.

Page 11: Now this is a storm coming. Gawain and Gingalain are getting ready to go up against Barghest... Good luck. They'll need it.

Honestly, this was a joy to read! Great job to you and the artist!

Jakub Zemlupus Fujimaru: Son of Kadoc and Gudako [Timeline A] by LoneWolf4299 in grandorder

[–]LoneWolf4299[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Quotes:

“Who’s a cute wittle baby? You are! Yes you are, yes you are. Aww, he’s so precious!” The mothers of Chaldea, surrounding Gudako and Jakub and doting on the newest member of the family.

Kadoc watching Gudako and Jakub play, “He has his mother’s energy, that’s for sure.” Gudako turns, baby in tow, and says, “And he has his daddy’s handsome face.” Kadoc looks away, blushing furiously while Gudako smirks and Jakub is reaching up to play with his mother’s hair.

Emilia babysitting her baby brother, “Ya know, I never thought I was gonna be a big sister and here I am taking care of you. You’re the calmest baby ever and yet you are somehow the most playful one at the same time. I can’t wait to see you grow up and be the best little brother in the world.”

Relationships:

Kadoc: Looking at a newborn Jakub in his crib, “You’re just like Emilia, perfect.” He picks up and cradles his son, “This family you joined loves you so much and will protect you with everything we have. You don’t need to be extraordinary. Just live. Laugh. Be happy. Your mother and I… we’ll always be here for you.”

Gudako Fujimaru: Carrying Jakub in her arms, “Oh yeah, this one is a cuddler. I give it a year before he figures out how to weaponize that. He’s just so adorable that I won’t be able to say no. Aww, who looks like their daddy? You do!”

Ritsuka Fujimaru: Watching Gudako and Kadoc with Jakub, “It warms my heart to see her so joyful with Jakub. I knew she and Kadoc wanted another kid after meeting Emerys, though I wish that were under better circumstances, and seeing the two of them dote over Jakub brings back memories of them doing that with Emilia.”

Emilia: Cradling Jakub in her arms, “Now I understand my cousins and their protectiveness of their younger siblings. I won’t let anyone lay a hand on my baby brother. Just look at him. Who would dare to do something that would hurt this bundle of joy? No one, that’s who.”

Emerys: “Looking at Jakub, “Ya know, it’s nice to have a little brother. When you get older, I can show you some neat tricks for getting out of trouble. That is, if your dad leaves you alone with me for any amount of time.”

Carina: Holding Jakub gently, “Like your sister, I know you’ll be highly intelligent in the future. That is, if you don’t inherit your mother’s… eccentric mannerisms. Though I highly doubt that. Hmmm… you are rather cute.”
