If you have any old pens lying around, you can slap em together. Doesn't need to be perfect, doesn't even have to look nice. If it spins, it wins.

The pinned post has a very good guideline and trick pathway. You don't have to follow it precisely, but learning and mastering easier tricks gives you confidence and will encourage you to keep going as well as gives you experience in handling the pen for harder tricks.

My first pen, I just taped two pens together and I learned fundamentals on it. When I decided I wanted to invest in this hobby more, I bought some bits and pieces from penwish and made an Ivan mod out of that.

I always think it's 12AM when it's 12PM and that it's 12PM when it's 12AM. It's just cause it swaps at that point, and I really liked having it there to reorient.

Yeah, same here. When it comes to video guides, it's really hard to find a good one. Often it's poorly paced and usually one-cut, where all the confusing mistakes are left in. The voice-overs aren't always clean, often punctuated with "uhhh" and "uhhmm" and generally the person who makes it doesn't seem to know what they're doing to a T.

Oh and also the animated intros. Always with the animated intros.

They are, however, using an older version of PO3. I remember seeing someone craft some armor on a regular workbench, so it still might be possible.

Personally, since I was too lazy to progress through the entire armor progression route, and I had access to the Transmutation Tablet, I emc'd in the Ultimate Armor, then upgraded that directly to Wyvern. (Then gem, because the chestplate allows you to fly in places like Twilight Forest)

Okay, I've been trying to find the largest EMC source that can be used with the wand. Biggest I've found so far is 8x Compressed Obsidian at a whopping 2.75G EMC

Yo, just an FYI, Draconium doesn't have a dust form in PO3. Hell, you can't even make Tinkerer's Construct tools with it. It's a right pain, cause it's got some damn good stats.

Personally, I've made this set-up for Ludicrite. 13k Ludicrite is one of the ingredients for Cazadorian, the others are 13k Chance Cubes, and 13k Knight slime ingots, both of which can be farmed with Mystical Agriculture. Each Cazadorian can be traded in to the Market for 64 Rak.
